Amelie shrieked in surprise and accidentally let go of the mast. She slipped sideways off the beam and plummeted a few feet before catching herself on the end of a rope. She looked up at the newcomer. "Oui." She said as she tried wrapping her legs around the rope but without success. Her heavy cloak started to weigh her down and her hands started to get clammy. "Now I don't want to be clingy or anything but I am in urgent need of aid." She said quickly. "I would very much like to apply for a position before I die."
