Finally remembered some more book recs. Complete with annotations too.
- Stardust by Neil Gaiman (Anything by Neil Gaiman really. He is my favorite author.)
- The Neverending Story by Michael Ende (Translated from German to English by Ralph Manheim. The old 80's movie is pretty good too. Or I remember liking it when I was younger. Haven't rewatched it in a while.)
- Brave Story by Miyuki Miyabe (A big chungus of a book at over 800 pages but is worth the read if you like the Neverending story.)
- Song of the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce (The tale of a secret Lady knight who taught me to go after any goal I set my mind to when I was younger)
- The Immortals series by Tamora Pierce (Series I started but never finished until recently. Very good and set in the same universe as the Song of the Lioness. But you don't have to read the Lioness series first. Also bonus points for main character being able to talk to animals.)
