Yeah, most spicy stuff is off the list. Anything that contains paprika, tomato, jalapeno, peppers, etc. etc.

My family suffers from allergies^^ Though I've got the most of 'em heheheeeee

Well here is your squid-y girl! Sorry if you see any fraying around the edges, the Ohuhus bled alot farther than I thought and I had trouble adjusting my strokes to suit it. So I'll explain.

Her beanie/chullo is supposed to represent the fin/mantle of the squid somewhat. I gave her a dark denim with red fringe because I thought the fringe might represent the other tentacles (although I am aware the number is off, but I couldn't have weak fringe!)

She had that pretty half/half eye because some squid have that and I think it looks very aesthetically pleasing. I gave her a blocky short bob, and had it cover one of her eyes since the squid has eyes on both sides of its head and you can usually only see one at a time.

Because she's a squid I thought she'd be a green girl! So I gave her a little "Save the ocean/fish!" patch on one arm and a recycling symbol on the inside of her other. I believe some squid are mostly active at night, so she needs coffee to stay awake!

Silk type basketball shorts that flair in the shape of your hips, to replicate the curve of the mantle right before it becomes the head. Thought it would be kind of morbidly funny to put whales on them because sperm whales eat squid. (Save the whales!)

Following an old trend, she has loud obnoxious primary-color shoes with those supports underneath. I'm not sure what you call them but I remember seeing them ridiculously big, and they kind of look like suckers so.

Shin socks because they go good with sneakers.

I tried to fit some aesthetics and trends into this because I think squid are very easy to draw aesthetically and stylized. Their fun and easy to draw, but full of possibilities

So yeah. The primary colors trend, the crop top denim, obnoxiously large shoes, the animal themed chullo, and the fringe.

(I was talking with a friend right after I got done, and they said this: ah, the life of an artist "it could look a lot worse" XD.

Which is just... so true xD)

It makes sense xD I have a bag of raisins thats been sitting in the fridge for a year now. And i've only used them for bread pudding

Same thing with me and dates.
I've got a whole bin of dried dated in the fridge and squat to do with 'em^^

Good thing dried fruit basically never goes bad, eh?
