The commander lead the way out of the stables, visibly flinching as Verasil unexpectantly boomed in his head. "Where are you, loyalty?" Cypress opened his mouth to reply, quickly shutting it as he remembered his company.

"Ruskar."

"Why?"

"I'm watching this Dreystani elf. She's a way into Rostar."

"Straight to invading enemy lands? I knew you were reckless, but I hadn't expected this. Well, I look forward to your journey, little loyalty.

This time Cypress scoffed outloud, pulling up his hood.

"Something the matter?"
Soterra noticed his flinch as they stepped out of the stables.

Archon seemed momentarily distracted by something, not even noticing Cypress had stopped as if he was lost in thought.

(Oof we were just going through LoL quotes xD Found this guy who sounds pretty close to what i think Cypress would sound like 1:14 and 10:16 are lines he would probably say. )

"Nothing." Cypress said, shaking his head. He redirected Soterra's attention to Archon instead. "You trust this guy?" He muttered.

"No more than I trust you." She muttered, just out of Arc's earshot as he continued to look around. "Maybe less.. Something seems incredibly off about him. I mean.. other than the whole claiming to talk to animals thing."

"Fair enough, although he does seem to be able to communicate with animals though which....isn't so unusual. Maybe even a bit useful." Cypress watched a seagull swoop down and steal someones bread, tthe villager cursing the sky. Must have been close to the sea.

(same here. Been in a pretty sour mood most of today too which hasn't been helping much. At least my themed luck this time and RNG on OSRS almost make up for it. Don't sweat it, lol)

Soterra almost had to laugh at that, nudging Cypress along.
"Come on, let's go. I'm not waiting around here for some silly bird to come back."

Cypress followed along, letting the elven girl lead the way, looking behind him to see if Archron was following.

Archon followed after a minute or two, finally broken from his distraction.
"Sorry, sorry. You didn't need to wait on me."
He said with a bit of a smile.
"I expect Yz will return in the top of the hour or so. Are you two familiar with this kingdom at all?"

"Not really. I've never had the reason to tread through Ruskar before. Guess it's a bit of sightseeing for me too."

"Never been anywhere but Helihe."Cypress said, looking around at the buildings and people. Unlike the cities of Helihe, things seemed more natural here, the roads hardpacked dirt.
