Nikkie came out of the meeting. "I'd say that went well." He was mostly being sarcastic as he said this with a sigh, running a hand through his hair. Res laughs, not noting his sarcasm.
"Hardly! Shoule left; the others are in an uproar; you're kingdom is going to fall around you if the advisors don't allow some sort of action." Res states it as it was as he smiles at Cara and waves a chipper hello. Nikkie glances towards her and offers her a small yet tired smile as he wraps up the conversation.
"Yes. Shoule could become another potential threat if he decides to rally people together and turn against the crown, which would cause more division than there already is. But until he's a threat, we will leave him be. We have the green light to go and join the alliance between the other kingdoms. We need to keep peace and unity within our kingdom, meanwhile, along with the others." Nikkie finishes the conversation with Res, not wanting to give too much away in case there was anyone untrustworthy/traitorous listening in. Ah, life was so much harder than it needed to be when it came to politics and knowing the right things to do.

I bow my head in greeting "Hello" My dragon's head rises up from where he was curled up (The spirit animals are visible right?)

Nikkie turns his attention to her, "Hello, Cara. Any news of the undead kingdom attacking anything lately?" His spirit animal wasn't around at the moment since she didn't like having to wait in boring meetings. She'd be flying by soon, though.
Res groans and mutters to his spirit animal, "Not more talk about war and impending doom." Nikkie gives Res a look and Res mumbles an apology.
"If you would rather talk about something else, like Res does, then we can switch to other topics if you have one in mind." Nikkie says.
Res raises his hand and starts to babble on about what he could talk about. Nikkie looks at Res with some irritation, "Was I talking to you?" Res apologizes again, chuckling nervously.

I sigh to myself All the time, this happens all the time "No news yet" 'Rmble' My dragon agrees

Nikkie nods, not enjoying the fact that the undead kingdom was being strangely quiet. He hoped that, if the enemy was preparing for an attack, his kingdom would be able to withstand the next blow and perhaps retaliate.
Res inches forward, "Now can we talk about something else?"
"If you must. Though don't bore Cara to death. She's a good person and I wouldn't want you talking her ears off." Nikkie gives in to Res' desire. Res' spirit animal decides to take cover behind the other dragon to be saved from Res' excited chatter. A few moments later, Nikkie apologizes to Cara for letting Res speak.

'Smaug' My dragon grunted "Hush" I whisper to him "It's fine" I say, Smiling at him

"Is it, though?" Nikkie says to Cara as he watches Res talk and talk and talk until he ran out of breath. "I'm not sure he is displaying normal human behavior."
Res' spirit animal chirps an apology, to Cara's dragon and carefully moves back to his original position beside Res.

I laugh "Ya done yet?" I call to Res 'Rmble' Draco rumbles back to his spirit animal
