Indigo's wings gently unfurled, lying soft upon the sand. His blue eyes seemed distant as he formed a small, watery dagger. It slowly frosted over, its edge sharp and clear.

Piper noticed and decided she wanted to get away, or at least somewhere safe. She started back towards the camp, twigs and leaves crunching under her feet
