"What did I say? I knew we weren't going to get out of here. May as well try to get to the throne room. Which way is it?" She stood back up and offered Ayden a hand.

"Here's a map. Outdated, sure, but it's around the same." Sylvia notes, handing you the map. Ayden takes the offered hand and gets to his feet.
According to the map, it was two left turns then a right and then through a wooden door.

She started running while reading the map. "Two left turns, one right through a wooden door."

Ayden runs behind you, trying to keep up. After the first two lefts, the path ends and you have to back track. Going down the right path gets you to a wooden door.

She quickly fumbled with the doorknob. "Come on, come on."

The rumbling and quaking was getting worse, stones and blocks of dirt falling.
Ayden gets hit by one, and he crumpled to the floor, not moving. The door finally gives way and you stumble into a throne room.
Two kitsunes lay dead on the floor next to a pile of green dust and a broad sword. One was most likely Nikkie since the other had hot pink fur.

She dragged Ayden into the throne room and tried to pick up the broad sword. Her breathing steadied.

The Labyrinth calms, no longer falling apart in an attempt to end itself.
You were now the leader of the Labyrinth. But that came with a price: you won't be able to leave the Labyrinth. Unless you pass the role of leader to someone else, that is.

"Well, heck. Gues I'm now the leader. I mean, I don't die from the monsters so that's good I guess." She pulled Ayden onto the throne and checked for a pulse.

The pulse was barely there. He'd probably die in a few minutes.
Now that you are the leader of the Labyrinth you can do practically anything. Like ordering monsters this way and that, changing the paths, plotting the end of other tributes, and trying to make allies with the monsters and beings that weren't already your allies.
