" I doubt I will marry the person I love. There is a great difference in statues after all. (oop big slip of the tongue. ) And it would be much more advantageous for the empire to have a political marriage with a noble. Currently, all of the noblemen worthy of my hand in marriage are quite...frivolous. I don't wish to have a repeat of my father's rule in terms of the harem. "

(yes.)

Lowell
He rose an eyebrow at that as he was in process of trying to reactivate the amulet. So it was mutual then..
He shot a bit of a smile to Gallagher from his position, shaking his head slightly.

Giselle
"Well, that's disappointing, but understandable. Maybe one day you can find the means to bridge that gap. You are the Empress of Arkaos after all. I'm sure anyone would move mountains for you if you so much as gave the order."

Gallagher glanced at him. He hadn't heard their conversation, so he was a bit confused as to why he was...smiling-ish at him.

She laughed softly. " No, not yet, anyway. Even I have limits to my power. "

With his mind cleared again, he was able to reactivate the illusion and stepped out from the shrub, rubbing the back of his head.
"Over already? Missed all of the fun too.. Well, color me impressed, knew you had it in you, Marchioness."

Giselle
"As if. You were the one mocking me the entire time, scoundrel. And no. This beast belongs to the Empress. Beat me fair and square."

" Although she did do all the work...But I saved her life, so apparently its my kill. " She said.

"Like I said." He pat Giselle on the back. "Not good you almost got yourself speared, but at least you didn't go it alone like you were planning originally."

Giselle
Giselle couldn't tell if he was being sincere or not at this point and just nudged him away, climbing back onto her horse.
"Well, since you didn't bother helping me out, then I think you have no problem helping the Empress carry it back, Duke Brichalles."

'Lionel'
"Got caught up with a rowdy horse, my apologies. The boar must have scared the animal half to death, but it wasn't listening to a word I said. I would be glad to assist her with this."

" I appreciate it, Duke. " She waved her hand, and the ice wall trapping the boar disappeared. The boar fell to the ground, and the Empress leaned downed, manually closing its eyes with her hand.

"It would be quite rude of me otherwise."
He knelt down, heaving the boar up and over his back with ease that seemed almost impossible for someone of his frame.

"Marchioness, you have the horse, yes?"

Giselle
"Yup. Got the reins right here. Don't know why it's getting all skittish on you. You ever rode a horse before?"
Giselle had taken the reins of Lowell's horse who was currently lazily grazing on a bit of forest grass with a careful eye on him, as if he were some sort of predator.

'Lionel'
"Good, good. And yes, but I typically do not care much for those animals. I find them terrifying, if I am being honest." He frowned a bit back at the horse who gave a snort in response.

She was a bit astounded by his display of superhuman strength, but decided not to ponder on it to long. She whistled, and her own horse came running, stopping in front of her master.

She reached up, gently stroking her mane before getting herself on the horse, taking the reins.

"..I-It's lighter than it looks." He said with a laugh to try and cover himself.
"But I would prefer this be a short trek back."

Giselle
"We'll move quickly so we're out of your way, Duke, sound nice to you?"
She took the lead, leaving Lowell and Gallagher to watch the Empress' back as they made their way back to the starting area of the event.
