Good morning!
The Weekly Design Contest will last until the end of Wednesday, August 30th, and Will be judged the following day(Judging for August 29th and August 30th contests may be a bit delayed, my classes start those days.).
Weekly Design Contest;
Design a sylesti OR an avi based on the cover of your favorite book.
(If the cover doesn't give you much to work with, use your favorite character.)

daily mini entry;; sand swallowed lake
my entry is based off of something i witnessed on a family trip to the beach a few years ago. we live near lake michigan, and it was in the middle of the winter. the lake had frozen over, milky white ice covering the water as far as the eye could see. with the aid of the wind, the sand had begun its conquest over the new surface, miniature dunes forming on the ice. i did my best to display this with the sharp webbing and spooky fog, the three genes also serving a purpose in mimicking the wind-carved ripples of the sand.
