Riley shrugs with his good shoulder, tying the feathers together and then using them as a makeshift bandage. "Let's see how long that holds for." He says, and continues down the path. You know the bear had to go down one of them.
Right - sounds of water
Left - eerie silence

Ayden shakes his head and tries to stop you from dragging him. "No, no no no. Don't make me face whatever is ahead." He pleads.
A feathered bear pounces out at you. "Aha! Lunch has arrived! Let me eat you!" He says cheerfully. Ayden shakes his head and tries to hide behind you.

"Nope, definitely not the right. Water is just... creepy. Let's go left."

Riley heads with you down the left path, keeping an eye and ear out for trouble. However, there isn't anything along the path.
It splits.
Right - sounds of chatter
Left - stoney

"I wonder if there are any other tributes..." I point to the right. "Let's go that way."

"Okay." Riley heads after you.
On the road wasn't two tributes. They were two stormy black creatures who had long fingers and sharp claws and teeth. They notice you and swarm over to you.
"What shall we take from these two?" One Nimmt asks. The other chuckle and latches onto Riley's good arm.

"Oh great. Why are you in such high demand with these monsters, Riley." I roll my eyes and turn to the Nimmts. "So what do you want?"

She took out the sword. "No, not aloud to eat me and he's with me. At the moment I'm trying to explore but I now know he has no spine so I'm trying to make him grow one."

"To take your guy's lives!" The Nimmt that wasn't holding onto anyone giggles. Riley shakes his head, pulling the Nimmt that had a grip on him close, kneeling to be eye level with it.
"Listen. No one's taking anyone's life. Except me taking your lives." Riley adds, putting his hands on the creatures neck and snapping it. Riley turns to the other Nimmt, who had its greedy hands on you. "And you will let go of her if you know what's good for you."
The Nimmt stuck its tongue out at him. "I take your..." The Nimmt was interrupted by another Nimmt, who had come to see what the fuss was all about.
"Oooooooh! We have new prey!" The new one says, scrambling forward.
"I know." The first one sighs, fingers still locked around your wrist.
Riley waves his hand and a wall of fire springs to life between the two of you and the new Nimmt. The Nimmt backs up, tripping on its feet. For a few moments, the fire burned steadily, but the illusion flickered before going out. Riley curses under his breath as he tries to get another fire wall up to separate the incoming Nimmts from the two of you.

"I prefer to eat those that don't have bones. They're nice and not crunchy and there is no risk of bones getting stuck in my throat." The feathered bear says, reaching towards Ayden. Ayden tried to hide, but the bear grabs him with its paws and sniffs him. "Haven't eaten a phoenix that hasn't had a backbone yet." The bear notes before opening its mouth to eat Ayden. Ayden thrashed in the bear's grip, trying to get out.
" No! Don't eat me. " Ayden pleads.
