She looks wearily at Emberpaw, poking at him to get him up. He ignores her, putting his paws over his face to try and sleep. They both look overworked after these long days of travelling, being so small and unused to all the effort.

('Course to do that you have to give up your dignity. Something tells me the other Centaur ain't pleased with that fact xD)
There aren't that many horses that would allow you to completely hide your upper body, plus it's putting a great strain on your spine seen as you're physically not designed to do this.
There are plenty of different bushes near the one he is in - there's a whole collection in the one place there.
There are shouts from your pursuers, nearing with every heartbeat.

Delirious quickly trots over to the biggest and closest bush, as quickly as she possibly can. Keeping her upper body low she tries to ignore the pain and focus of the glorious bow that awaits her if she doesn't get caught. She uses her little knowledge of horse behaviour to imitate their random short paces forwards and random kicks at the ground.

(I can imagine that you'll be getting plenty of practice :P)
The thunder of stampeding hoofbeats nears then stops.
"Which way did they go?" a voice growls.
"They must be heading further into the housing region, they have to stop and hide sometime."
"Then let's go!"
The clattering of hoofs departs, dulling until you can no longer hear them.
"Well you don't handle runaways that well, do you?" the male says, irritated. "Now get out of there. Farstride doesn't like you to be late; we've been hanging around long enough."
At least the exercise will help you in the future.

Delirious mutters quietly, telling herself that she should really get some training in before she tries to cause more trouble. She backs out of the bush and takes one quick look down to where their pursuers had headed before trying to head back to the market area. Even though the other centaur had sort of saved her, she decided ultimately that she didn't like him very much.

(We'll see...)
He escorts you, walking a little ways behind you and keeping a look out for any sign of any stragglers who were on the chase.
You realise that your joints are sore and your movements are sluggish, yet it can't be because of your run because you've already gotten your breath back and it wasn't that much exercise.
"We didn't run for that long," the other Centaur emphasises, seemingly catching on to the problem you have.

Delirious continues to walk, beginning to wonder strongly if she had been poisoned. If this kept up she probably wouldn't make it all the way back to the markets. She really wasn't sure what to do, this centaur seemed to be rather irked by her already and she didn't want to give him another reason to be annoyed by her. Despite her mental discussion, she mumbles a quiet,
"I know."
in response to the other centaurs comment.

He grunts, and then as if realising he should stop being so hard on you he mutters: "Guess there was a lot of smoke."
You do make it back to the markets, however your muscles and joints are excrutiatingly painful. It seems like this poison is designed not to kill, but to paralyse whoever tried to break into the warehouse. Luckily you didn't get too much of it in your bloodstream or it would have had the desired effect.
Farstride is at her stall, which by now empty. Seems like she packed all her stuff away and is ready to move.
"Was it a success?" she asks, her eyes darting to the Centaur beside you. He gives a subtle nod. "Well then. You're owed a Stonewood Longbow."
She takes it out from a pack on her side, handing it to you. She then takes a quiver of arrows from over her shoulder and passes that to you as well. "A little bonus, seen as Hornet personally approves of your work. That's certainly something from him."
Hornet, the Centaur beside you, snorts and rolls his eyes.
"Is there anything else you need?" she says, locking onto your gaze. You're briefly aware of Hornet motioning with his hands in the edge of your vision, but you don't know what it means.

Delirious takes her hair out again letting it fall down over her shoulders. She flashes Hornet a small smile but bright before turning back to who she could only assume to be Farstride giving her an equally bright smile, maybe he wasn't quite as bad as she'd initially thought.
"I cut my finger on something, and it hasn't been overly nice to me since, but I think I'm fine. Thank you very much for the equipment, miss! And thank you for the help, I know what I'd of done without you!"
