He ignores her, putting his paws over his face to try and sleep. They both look overworked after these long days of travelling, being so small and unused to all the effort.

"Accually Crimson if you can point me in the direction food is I'll hunt," I offer.

"I don't think I could dig a place for the egg if I tried." In the corner of your vision, you suddenly see a little glowing orange speck.

"Do you see that?" I ask him, turning towards it.

He shrugs. "S'nothing," he mutters, looking at his hooves.

Farstride tilts her head at you. "Cut your finger? I can only offer advice and say just wash it and make sure it isn't infected. Even the smallest of cuts can bring down mighty warriors," her eyes turn distant at that.

"Anyway," Hornet cuts in, taking your attention away from Farstride. "We'll be leaving Thatchburg now. With the recent turn of events you kicked into action, it would be best if we were elsewhere."

"You heading anywhere in particular, stranger?" she asks, walking out from behind the stall and standing by Hornet. They look quite similar, at second glance. He makes another series of gestures that you see this time, and Farstride nods. "Delilah, even."

"I notice that there haven't been any patients around lately," Balthur mentions casually.

Malindi shrugs. "You know how it is, Balthur. Centaurs aren't fighting as much like they used to. I'm only getting minor injuries coming here nowadays. In fact, I was thinking of moving shop over to Thatchburg. There are a lot of scuffles and gang brawls over there. Still not like the Clan Wars, but still."

Balthur gives a half smile. "As long as you stay safe, I'm happy with whichever road you choose to take."

"'Course I will. And if I have any trouble, I'll make sure to call for my big brother," she grins, punching him in the shoulder.

The brief exchange certainly has Knight smiling faintly. His eyes are slightly distant though.

After a long day of work, you're exhausted. Now you're fed; the last properly large meal you'll have for quite a while. You've got a great deal of travelling to do tomorrow.

She looks up at you, a grateful look in her eyes. You're more than likely to find some rabbit warrens over by that tall grass over there, she points with her snout to a hillside with wind-blown grass sweeping back and forth. I would say the other side - no rabbit is going to make a warren facing the roadside for fear of being seen and hunted.

Focusing on the light, you realise that it is bobbing up and down - like someone is carrying it while walking. From this distance you can't really see anything else.

Skywhisper turns his head toward it. "Yes, I do. I wonder what it is? Maybe it's dangerous... should we go and have a look?"
