After the Empress' parents had come and gone for the moment to figure out their next actions, Lowell stared over at Gallagher and then back at the Empress with a bit of concern.
"She has shown no signs of awakening still? Even with her mother here..
I understand the pain the Empress Dowager must have."

Gallagher nodded. He hadn't moved from his spot for a couple of... hours. " ...I hope she'll be alright...this is getting increasingly worrying. "

Lowell
"Should we bring the angel back up here?"

" he may be able to do something. So yes. "

Giselle
"On it. I'll be right back."
She said as she headed out the door.
In a moment or two, she had returned with Es leaning on her for support.

Ezael
Es had mostly recovered from the previous session of healing, but still seemed fairly weak on his feet.
He gave a slight nod to Gallagher before turning his attention on the Empress.

The Empress showed no signs of waking up. Not yet, anyway.

(waking up at 2am is weird
I fell asleep during the server downtime and somehow managed to sneak in 6 hours of sleep before a migraine woke me up
So I'm back, because I remembered I had yet to post this time)

Es approached her, examining her over. She seemed well alive, but he had hoped that poison wasn't stronger than he thought. He wasn't sure he would be successful at purifying her again if that were the case.

He set a hand delicately on her forehead as he tried speaking into her mind. He wasn't as skilled as some of the Goddess' other angels with telepathy who made much more regular use of it, but with being in contact with her, he figured there would be no issue.

'Seraphina. Your country needs you. Now is not the time to be afraid.'

There were faint whispers. Very, faint whispers. But enough to make out that it was her voice.

Es listened in more closely, taking a seat beside her and shutting his eyes to block out any external influences or distractions.

It sounded like multiple voices. Once he listened more, he was able to somewhat make out what they were saying.

'You aren't good enough. You'll never be good enough.'

'Everything you do results in failure. Stop trying.'

'You're not an adult. You're not an Empress. You're only a child wearing a plastic crown.'
