It is, but that kid didn't think so XD
More like they can't get anything into thier tiny mouths....
Sorta, not really, but it's not like they move real fast to begin with.
Not really more prone to preadators than normal.

Random weird fact-
there's this star image on this site
Looking at the file name, sylestia.com/images/website/icon_favorite_mini.png, there's something that stands out to me:
"icon_favorite_mini"
So... was its original function to be part of some 'like' or 'favorite' system, where you could like posts? Maybe... but after checking all other forum functions, most icons used are labeled as 'buttons':
https://www.sylestia.com/images/website/backgrounds/buttons/forum_ping_down.png,
https://www.sylestia.com/images/website/backgrounds/buttons/forum_quote.png
https://www.sylestia.com/images/website/backgrounds/buttons/forum_report_down.png
So, I'll probably be digging into that ;w;
My current guess: It WAS part of a liking system, but it was abandoned in early development and used in other assets. Later 'buttons' were labeled the way they are just to keep the files easy to find and identify.
BUT REMEMBER,
That's just a theory. AAAAAAAAAAAA... SYLESTIA... THEORY...
Thanks for reading~

XD Well, his loss
Ah... so their stomach sort of ARE their mouths, and their tiny mouth openings are more like and entrance/exit point?
How prone are they already to predators? I mean, they're pretty soft and squishy, aren't they? i feel like that's not great protection....

Sooo...
I finally caved and checked out the first book in the Inheritance Cycle.
To be honest, I didn't really like it that much, but I might've been setting myself up for defeat since I already know I don't like super typical fantasy D&D-esque settings in books. The ones with, like, elves and sorcery and stuff. I mean, I like fantasy, just not that type of very fantasy fantasy.
Although I found it amusing that the letter before E is D, and Eragon with a D is Dragon. I dunno if that becomes important later in the series or if the author just did that for fun.
My friend and I were coming up with insults beginning with every letter of the English alphabet on the bus, it was fun

I'm guessing maybe you were supposed to press another button to 'like' or 'favorite' something, and the star popped up to show you that it had been liked/favorited. After all, the other ones all serve as buttons. I mean, you click them and stuff happens.
That star is the first-gen theme thingy, right?
It's interesting that some item image file names don't match the item name.

Their mouth's more of an opening for them to take thier stomachs in and out of.
Well, seastars are echinoderms (a fancy word meaning spiny skin), so that makes fine defense. Some species are poisonous as well.

b r u h I started reading eragon, but there was just SO MUCH 0-o like, a whole two pages dedicated to describing a setting as the character just... walks... through? And never sees it again? Why???
Well, a is accident
B is biscuit-eater
C is chintzy
D is dastard
E is egregious
F is Flagrant
G is garbage
H is Harridan
I is Instagram normie
J is... Jabber?
K is kook
L is lugubrious
M is malodorous
N is not very plus-ultra
O is officious
P is pariah
Q is quarrelsome
R is recalcitrant
S is son of a motherless goat
T is tawdry
U is uncouth
V is vagrant
W is water bottle
Y is yokelish
And z is zealot
...there.
...Yes... I like the theory... but still more research needs to be done before anything can be proven. Right now I'm leveling up my pets, but I'll see what I can find soon~

OH okay ;w; that makes a whole lot more sense.

XD It was a joke in a place I grew up in. Instead of regular insults, we just went around yelling 'water bottle', went on for the longest time
Quite fear-inducing, I must say, can't be taken by the faint-hearted, be careful who you use it on X3
