Noting this, Es checked for any signs of a dark intrusion into her mind before letting a radiant light and the warmth of the Goddess' love pour into it.

The whispers stopped. Then they started talking to each other.

'there's an intruder.'

'Angel.'

'retaliation.'

There was suddenly a dark haze that covered her mind, stopping anything from getting out. Or in. It was strong, similar to the way dark magic overtook people.

Ezael
If Es could swear, he definitely would be right now.

Instead, he dropped his hands to her shoulders and began reciting something in an angelic language before coaxing holy magic through her body.
He knew it would have to come in waves to disrupt the influence if he did not want to provoke it to attack her further or damage her in the cleansing, but what he didn't know was how long he could keep it up.

Lowell
Lowell watched this on full alert, the presence of holy magic in the room forcing him to grip his own head as a growl escaped him.

Giselle
Giselle set a hand on his shoulder to calm him as she looked up at Gallagher.
"Do you have any idea what's going on?"

Gallagher felt the same pain, but he ignored him and shook his head. But he could sense strong dark magic slowly leaking out of Seraphina.

The Dark magic waned. Every time a wave of holy magic ended, it swiftly built itself back up, seeming to never end.

Ezael
Eventually, exhausted, Es was forced to concede. The light off his wings was dim and he looked ill as he pulled his hands from her, stood up, and promptly collapsed at Gallagher's feet.
Whatever it was, if it was strong enough to put an angel out, it probably didn't bode well for Seraphina.

Giselle
Giselle rushed over to help him, looking him over to make sure he was. It was hard for her to tell initially thanks to their strange biology, but she relaxed when she saw him sputter.

Ezael
"She..She cannot be ..saved. Dark.. magic.. rooted deep. I ..am sorry." He croaked out to her before passing out cold.

Lowell
"From the frying pan into the fire. As expected." Lowell shook his head, rubbing his temples.
"This doesn't give us much to go off of."

Giselle
"It doesn't, but if you two are good at anything, it's figuring things out when you have nothing to go off of. I'll be back."
She heaved Es over her shoulder, carrying him down to his quarters before any further harm came his way.

Gallagher stared down at Seraphina. She might die. She might die from this, and there was nothing he could do about it. Nothing. And...for the first time, it made him feel...weak. Weak, and powerless. Unable to do anything for her.

(Seraphina:*dies*
everyone: *Cries themselves to death*)

Lowell set a hand on Gallagher's shoulder.
"I won't let that happen."

" ...What do you suppose we do, then? " He asked him. "It's rooted inside of her. It's not like we can go inside of her and manually remove it. "

"Not precisely anyways.. We have several options. But you may not like them.

Outside of waiting for her to die and attempting to resurrect her, we can also surrender her to the dark magic in very much the same means you obtained your power with it.
It would unhook the control the influence has over her mind, at the price of her soul, but I know that she would live. I can't say either of us know enough about performing that rite properly to leave her mind intact."
He sighed.

"The alternative, however, is unspeakable and I know that it would only damage her station to suggest it."

(Nah Hess and Sera are two completely different people. Sure they're both...redheads, but that's because red is a very nice color xD)
