Hi everyone I have been here a couple of days now and after reading threw a lot of the forums there are a few things I would like to ask.

1) Are the prices of the Scale shop eggs also an indication of how rare the species of the pet is?

I understand that the owner of the scale shop is an expert on Egglings and that the higher the price the more likely it will carry or have visible certain traits and mutations. But for the eggs that are between the 500 to just under 800 gold range can that also be an indication of how rare the pet species contained within might be is what I am asking.

2) Is it advisable to make a duel pet in terms of the element tree you pick for them such as Fire/Water or is this the worst idea possible xD?

Hi there, Leosnake! ^^ Ok, to awnser your questions....
1) The higher the price, the more likly you are to get genes/mutations. The species is random, I beleive.
2) I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, so I'll awnser all ways that I took that as. XD
Breeding a Fire with a Water: I don't believe a pets chosen alligment has any effect on the breeding.
Having a pet with two alligments: ....I'm pretty sure that isn't possible.

I think Leosnake is asking about proficiencies - like instead of dumping all points into one tree is it viable to split them into two trees.

Probably at such low level, it's best to stick all points into a single tree at this moment. Once the cap gets higher though, dual spec pets can have their purpose.

Unfortunately, the system isn't very well built to accommodate dual specs. It's something we want to figure out and improve down the road.

Ah yes this is what I was asking thank you very much I will keep this in mind and wait for the cap to go up.

@Chidori I see thank you for the information I just wasn't sure if the pets were random because we simply don't know what is in them but are pre-set upon creation or if they stayed random until they hatched. I am guessing it is the latter.

They are created at the beginning, but of course there is no way of knowing what they contain until it hatches.

The price is solely an indicator of its base stats and how many genes/mutations it has visible or is carrying.
