When/how am I able to expand my party to 3 pets? Can parties be larger than 3 pets? If so, then when/how do you expand beyond 3? Also, in regards to missions, if you send a pet on a mission, can they not explore/battle while they are on the mission? I haven't wanted to try sending my main pet on a mission in case I couldn't use him to explore.

You will be given the chance to do so once you advance a little bit more in the main quest line, the NPC that gives the expansion can be found in the plaza.

Thank you Ruinia! I have found the person in the plaza to upgrade my party, that's how I have two right now. There's no way to increase to three without going further though? I'm stuck at this wizard Cerith (I think that's his name) guy. He annihilates me every time ><.

You need to beat him then there will be new party expansion upgrade. You should level up your pets and get better equipment! One advice from me for the beginning of this game is, take it slow don't rush it or you're going to spend too much money on potions if you do! OuO

Haha ok, thanks for the advise. I have spent a bit on potions already =/. I switched some equipment around and put some level up points in that I had forgotten about, so hopefully it will go better this time...
