I can't seem to figure out how the participation and rewards for raids and events are figured out o.o
I think (!!) the letter sent to your inbox with the top rankings and that, are based on damage done and/or enemies killed?
But then comes the rewards.. I have no idea how they're calculated, because sometimes, I get purple satchels for lower rankings, but other times I manage to rank pretty high, but well get blue satchels O.O
Could someone enlighten me on how it's figured out?

All I know is that normally, it's calculated on the number of
ennemies and the type of Satchel is depending on the type
of event, like longer ones will give better ones~ owo
For the Easter Event, I think it's calculate on a mix of Egglings
you bring AND ennemies you kill~
For example, I think I killed 47 ennemies last Raid, but didn't
turned in my Eggling, but the top people had 300-ish as first
place and such, so that's what made me think, it's a mix~ owo"
EDIT :
Then I think if you participated a certain "%" of the event, you
start getting rewarded for that too, but exactly about where, if
it was said, I do not remember~ XP

This thread should answer all of your questions.

For the Spring Festival Eggling Hunt - both Spring Festival Egglings turned in and Enemies defeated count towards your participation.
