Club Moontide




Hello! Welcome to Club Moontide. My name is Brisk, and this is my sylvorpa, Glowstone. We are here to explain the purposes and service this club will work together to provide.

Community Goals:
-Host Sylestia species release date parties
-Offer a mentor for new players who join
-Provide new players with either a 6v pet, or a lvl 20 mission pet to jumpstart their game life
-Take part in short search clean up days
-Be a help source


Sylestia Release Date Parties!
The official release dates of every pet species will be needed to bring these parties to life. During these events, we will show off our favorite pets of the species the party is thrown for on this thread. I ping all club members on the thread with a post for us to begin this in game form. I will post a picture of my favorite pet of the species, and the next person to play will tell me why or why not they like it too, Then, they will add a picture of their own, and so on. There is no limit to how many you post per picture, or how many times you participate.
If the club member chooses to on this holiday, we will clean up all cheap sylestis of this species on the advanced search to increase their value and rarity! Any user who wants to participate in these activities can, whether they are club members or not. We welcome all to our parties :)


Offer Mentoring!
This will be a fun and helpful source the club provides. If new and old players join, and the new player would like a mentor, I will ask an older club members if they would like to do this job. If they say yes, I will note them down on the Mentors&Newbies list as a pair. Basically, the role of our Moontide mentors is to answer questions for the new players as well as we are able. Questions might be based around breeding, missions, battling, and so on.

Providing New Players!
This is pretty self explanatory, but to sum it up. We will ask the new players if they are more interested in breeding and designing, or missions and battling. Depending on what they choose, we will gift them a suitable pet. It does not have to be themed, but it can be if the gifter chooses. This will be to help new players get a head start in their gaming life.

Clean Up Days! Woot!
Every other Wednesday will be advanced search clean up day. Pets priced from 1g-2k are considerably cheap and bring values down. How this works, is we will buy the pets up and release them. Even if we only manage to do this for 1-3 pets, we are still making a difference! Sylestia is overpopulated and if we make an effort to help by releasing cheap pets it will slowly but surely improve. If you like the pet, you may keep it, of course! The purpose of this is to help clean up the search. It is optional, so don't feel forced :)

Be a Help Source!
I will have a post right under this one that includes links to helpful guides, tips, and other good threads for new players to read. I can't find all of these on my own, so if I am missing any, please send me a private message (pm) and I will add it to the list :) Basically, this will be a quick, easy place for new players to scan a few options of help for what they need, and get there in a blink. Without digging through the FAQ thread to much. (that was always an intimidating thought that drove me away from guides as a new player, so I thought maybe this would be a nice way to reduce that)

That pretty much sums up the community goals! Of course, everything and anyone is welcome in Club Moontide to a point. Here are the brief rules that come along with being a member...

Club Rules!
1. Read the forum rules posted by Faiona before joining
2. No begging, as once, nicely, and wait
3. Try to answer any unanswered questions on the thread
4. Be kind to others
5. Be polite
6. No spamming
7. Be appropriate for ALL ages
8. No excessive caps lock please
9. Include the word "frumpy" in your club form if you read the rules
10. Have fun!
