Ps if u had about 20 thousand saved up and u had a choice between the nets in esiors haven or the ones in the second area(terribly sorry,I'm on my phone and I can't go check without having to type this all over again) one costs 1000 the other costs 2500

The one that costs 2500 is a standard snare trap, and the one that costs 1000 is a lesser snare trap. A lesser snare can trap commons and uncommon sylesti's, where a standard snare trap can catch common, uncommon, and rare sylesti's. To find out more about them, hover your mouse (if your on a computer) on the picture, and it will give you more details.

Edit: It does help to lower their Health, just be careful you don't defeat it in the process. Sorry that I overlooked your other question!

It does not help to lower health, so I'm told. This game doesn't work like pokemon, if health is high it doesn't increase ur chances though either. After doing some looking I am unsure if the traps increase ur chance of catching sylestis, I do know though, that the more expensive traps are useful for catching more rare sylestis. For example: Standard can catch up to rare-blue star- sylestis. less is up to uncommon-green star- and strong is up to epic-purple stars.
the star rankings are this
1. common(no carries or shows)-white star
uncommon(1 carry)-green
rare(1 show)-blue
4. epic(1 carry, 1 show)-purple

These are currently the only type of sylesti u can currently find atm.

It does help to lower their health. We changed this awhile ago.

I caught a rare sylesti today with 1 vis 1 carry... So maybe that has been changed as well?

What Kinuna said above is the new system, but it's only in place for the 3rd region. The 1st and 2nd regions still use the old rarity system, but they'll be converted over eventually.

Rats! well thanks for clearing that up for me.

There might eventually b more rare sylestis adding in as well, so my above "chart" may hav added things to it eventually as well. We've still only unlocked 3 areas.
