Moved to FAQ Forum.
Atm, in the Fall Festival Zone, you can freely explore around. I'm assuming you haven't reached the 3rd region yet so you aren't familiar w/ the new system. It's basically the same premise as the original exploration system, you just have more control.
In the zone, you can search for Wooden Chests or Mysterious Pumpkins. Opening them gives you rewards - just like it did in the original system. More rewards will be added later for the Mysterious Pumpkins, but atm, you can find some of the Pumpkin Outfit items from there.
Also, you can do the same with the Scarecrows. You have a chance to be attacked by a Scarecrow, which is considered to be a "Named". Named can drop special loot. In this case, the Scarecrow Avatar Items.
There is also a Traveling Merchant in the zone. Atm, she only offers a healing service. She will have a Restocking Shop available later on w/ festival Avatar Items that you can purchase.
Lastly, there are Named to find and defeat. Although, atm, none are available. We are working on adding them in now. They respawn every so often with a chance to spawn. If you defeat them, they have a chance of dropping more festival Avatar Items.
And, of course, on top of all of that, you can hunt around for Ryori, special Holiday Pets, or just pets in general. The zone scales to your Party in level, so it's a great place to make gold and strengthen up your pets.
