This is my first time here at all, and I am not sure about the presents. Am I to give them away, or can I open them? If I can open them, how to do that? I would like it if someone to explain it to me fully. Thanks:)

You should find the 1st anniversary presents in your trade tab. I was also unsure and I just accidentally clicked there and found it. :) Once you accept your trades, they move to your inventory and then (when you left click them) to your wardrobe, where you can apply then to your avatar.

Thanks but that was not what I was talking about, and I have not got that yet. However, thank you for trying to help. What I was talking about was the "wrapped presents". It said that you can give as a gift to caroling people, but I was wondering about what if I keep them after the holiday. Does it disappear, or do we open them at the end? What about the points? What is the deal with them?

Wrapped presents are meant to be given away to carolers. You can't open them.
If you give a caroler a wrapped present, you will receive 20 cheer points, and the caroler will receive what ever is inside the present. People with enough cheer points will win prizes at the end of the festival! However, these prizes haven't been announced yet.
If you keep a present until after the festival, I don't think it will disappear, but you still can't open it. It'll basically just be useless. xD

That being said, I don't think you can actually give people the presents yet. I've tried and I can't. I think that feature hasn't been fully implemented yet because the admins are busy getting the other festival stuff up and running, so we'll just have to be patient. :)

(I am functioning under the assumption this works the same way as it did during the Fall Festival with handfuls of candy. If this is incorrect someone please let me know. xD )
