Every time I log on, it says "You have been pinged!", is there a way to turn this off, because I think its stupid.

Well, a species revamp is around the corner and the Week of Love festival just began, so there have been a lot of site-wide pings from the admins lately. Announcements about the site, festivities, and forum games. There aren't as many pings between events.

You can dismiss an individual ping by hitting the X button on the right side of it.


If a non-admin pings you and you want to block that person from pinging you, you can use the block button to the left of the player's name in the ping. You can't block admin pings though.
