So, I want to buy new stuff for my avatar, but that cost tokens and I have no clue what those are and how to get them. Help please?

you don't need peerless avatar tokens to get new stuff for your avatar- they're specifically for the stuff in the avatar shop's token section, and have very high value, typically being obtained as a prize for placing in an event of festival forum game or other similar ways.

Base styles (mouths, eyes, tattoos, base hairstyles, etc.) can be unlocked with AP or diamonds (you can tell which can unlock what by the symbols in the top corners corners- AP symbol means you can use either, diamond means diamond-only). Just click the moneybag icon and it'll bring up a popup

outfits (helds, outfits, headwear, wings etc) can be obtained in many ways- drops from certain enemy types, bought from one of the towns, boss drops of the fest shop during a festival, bought from other players, etc. and then used from the inventory to unlock them in your wardrobe
(oh, and sanctuary of saerielle badges, which uh... from doing quests from the sanctuary of saerielle quest board I think. I never payed attention to them, they're literally only used in the sanctuary of saerielle market for like, six avatar items)

Theres an avatar token on the broker in Badges and Tokens. Theyre pretty hard to get, Im guessing, since that ones so expensive. I pinged Scathreoite here, thatll probably help. Also if you want, I can give you this one outfit for free if you want it. I sent it. Check player trades. You can sell it/resend it to me if you dont like. Also, if there are any pets in my hatchery you are interested in, Id be glad to see if theyre available. Im not stalking you or anything :) I just like helping people!!!
