OK. Are the trolls in the Grotto area actually beatable? I've died to them like 30 times (9 times to be real) already! :c Can someone give some tips/advice/anything-that-would-help?

Yep, they're definitely beatable.

I would recommend investing in some better gear for your pets (purple or yellow/orange if you can), the higher the level, the better. Nightfall and Floran need Intel/Agility gear, and Peacock needs Intel/Dex. gear. Enemies in the fest zone drop a lot of purple gear, so you might be able to get some good stuff from there!

Edit: Intel/Dex. would also be fine for Floran, but Nightfall should have Intel/Agility.

I don't know if it's just me but I've also noticed I've had more trouble with teams that all use the same type of elements (like all Intel-based, for example)? I ran a Shadow/Light/Fire max stat team for a while and I've had a lot better time with my current Water/Light/Fire team. It's up to you but personally I'd recommend either swapping your Shadow for a Water or Earth, or your Fire for an Air. Definitely keep a Light pet no matter what.

Edit #2: I don't know what order your pets are in on your team, but keep your tank (shadow, water, earth, sometimes light) in Slot 1, and your cannon (fire, air) in Slot 3 because while they do a lot of damage, they're weak to incoming damage.

Yes, they're definitely beatable.
You'll want to make sure all your equips are up to date, profs are good, and party order correct
- Floran only has one of his two profs set, as a light healer he should probably have 2int

- make sure Nightfall, as the shadow pet, is in slot 1. You could try playing with her prof assignment- maybe 1int/1agi? (but I don't know how to run shadow tanks so I'm not the best person for that)

- equips are a bit all over the place in terms of rarity and level. Since your pets are lv35-36, and I assume at this point your reputation with Sanctuary of Saerielle isn't that high, you'd probably be best off going for full lv25 legendary rarity sets- Illusionist for Nightfall, Evoker for the other two (although I will note that this is an entirely Magic-element team, so you have no source of physical damage at all, but that's mostly preference in the end)
(Floran, in addition to his missing prof point, also has a Physical-type relic, which isn't something he, as a light pet- a magic element- can make use of, even if it wasn't a lv15 uncommon equip. Uncommon equips bad, Avoid if at all possible. They're better than having 'literally nothing' but that's about it. lv55 uncommon isn't even as strong as lv25 legendary)

I'd suggest reading up on how to do missions and sending some pets on them. This will get you supplies that will be useful- gold, equipment that you can use or sell, healing items, and reputation points with the town you're doing the missions in (which can eventually unlock access to buying the gear available in the Town Halls. It's lv0 and lv26 equipment, but don't let that fool you, it's very useful to have access to if you ever want to either train up more lower-level pets or make battle-board teams for fest because it's actually the best low-level gear in the game)
