Zone Chat is more commonly known as "Regionchat" and is accessible in region 3, the lost grove, and fest zones. It's basically a little chatbox that all people in those regions (it's a single one shared across all of them) have in the bottom corner of the explore UI that they can use to talk to eachother. Given that you're lv34, I don't expect that you've finished region 2 (umbra forest) yet, though if you've been participating in fest you likely would have seen it

There is another chat, known as "Genchat" (for 'general chat') which is accessible site-wide at all times. You can open it by clicking the text seen in the bottom-bar on any syletia page that says 'Chatrooms', or can be found via this link
