Hi,

I been doing the quests and all, but I have seem to run into a bit of a snag.

If I go into the inventory during a battle, none of my potions show up. I know SOME potients are not available during battle, they have the notice on the potion. But I have some potions that DONT say that, but they NEVER pop up in my battle inventory. How Do I add them to that? How Do I use potions during a battle?
Sometimes healing my pet from pet skills is NOT enough and I like to avoid expensive trips to the healer if possible. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Errrmmm How do I turn in a task? I just got to the cool new area and there are tasks open now and I thought it was similiar to quests but? eh??? Hooooow do I turn it in? I been running around and trying to see if anyone else asked this but yet to my dismay I am yet still a confused newbie.

Not all potions can be used during a battle. Some can only be used from your normal inventory. These ones will say, "This cannot be used during a Battle" in the description when you hover over it in your normal inventory.

That's odd, where are you exactly ? The interface change alot between the various regions so maby you got confuse with the change... ?

It's a perfectly reasonable confusion
Potions can only be used outside of battle, while Elixirs and Draughts are the ones that can be used inside of battle.
They're located in the 'healing items' inventory automatically when in battle.

In Regions 1 and 2
1> While in battle, you click the RED ARROW button (quick key 'P'): This is the 'manage party' button.
2> This will bring up a screen of your party pets. Click the 'Use Item' Button located at the bottom left of this screen
3> Clicking that will bring up your Elixirs and Draughts. Select one, and it will take you back to the party screen
4> Select the pet you want to use the item on, it will go back to the battle screen. A bottle icon: will be present in the top right of the selected pet's status box and the background of the manage party button will now be green rather than grey.

(> If you selected wrong, repeat steps 1 and 2. On the Elixirs and Darughts screen, deselect the already selected item (background of it will be green), then select the new item and proceed.



In Regions 3, Fest Zones
> In battle, click the Manage button (Quick key 'Q')
> This will pop up a box with six options. For an Elixir (healing), select 3, for a Draught (revival), 4.
> selecting either one will take you to a screen that shows your three party pets and your collection of elixirs/draughts (depending on which one you picked)
> Select the healing item (background of item turns green) THEN the pet (background of pet will turn green)- this icon will appear on the top right corner of the pet's battle status box:
(> You can swap which item or pet a lot more simply- just click them and it will swap, no deselecting needed)
> Click 'close' to go back to the battle screen. The selected healing item will appear in the left-hand Moves box at the top of the battle


Lost Grove
Functions the same as R3+Fest Zones, but you need LG healing items specifically- non-LG healing items cannot be used in LG.
