in the bar above the genetics and colours, the eggs have a green bar showing how long until they hatch. on hatchlings, though, it only has a yellow bar showing 10/10. what does that mean, and how long until, say, an eight day old hatchling grows to the next stage?

the yellow bar will be their hunger meter once they're grown and moved to the stables; for hatchlings (and adolescents that are in the hatchery) it doesn't do anything.
sylesti ages (Maturity Hours window + real world time with no boosting)
Eggling: 0 - 72 (72mh) / 3 days (once egg hits 72mh, they will remain there for a max of 24 hours before autohatching, then gain the skipped 24mh) (become hatchling at 3days)
Hatchling 72 - 216 (144mh) / 6 days (become adolescent at 9 days)
Adolescent: 216 - 648 (432mh) / 18 days (Pets are adults once they are 648 mh / 27 days old)
> Eggling aging is sped up by +1mh for every 6 correct nurtures
> Hatchling aging is sped up +1mh for every 4 correct nurtures
> Adolescent aging can be sped up +144 via magical pie (for a total of a maximum of 288mh/ 6 days of aging skipped via 2 magical pies, due to the cooldown time of 72 hours between pies)
If a pet is genetically tested (or was made in the generator via essence) you can see their exact age in maturity hours:
eg.
Birthday: 08-16-2021 3:38:40PM
Age: 15 Days < number of days they've existed on the site
Maturity: Adolescent (379/648) < here, in the Maturity section, is their age in Maturity Hours, which is how the site calculates what stage they're at
