1. House Name: House of Bellator (I put in a description of the house, hope that's ok)

House Bellator stands out because of its female-dominated structure. Men are valued for their physical strength but are mainly seen as soldiers or in lower positions because of their impulsive and reactionary tendencies, though a few standouts are able to make it to high positions in government. All royals, generals, and most politically powerful people are females, vaunted for their steady decisionmaking and grit. (Basically Darre from The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms).

Many houses dismiss House Bellator because of its female leaders so it tends to be an insular house with few connections. However, its people are generally loyal and it has been stable for several generations. Leadership is passed on to female children, but they have to prove themselves in the army and then in a test of strength in front of a warrior council. Amarisa was tested and accepted six months ago after the sudden death of her mother and secretly harbors ambition to become Queen of Sylestia because she believes she will rule better and more stably than her opponents.

4. Personality: Amarisa has been trained for leadership since birth. She prefers diplomacy to battle, though she is an able fighter and not hesitant to use Bellator's army when the situation warrants. She is typically fair in her judgments but unshakably believes that her methods are right, sometimes coming across as arrogant or high-handed. Amarisa thinks that the empire has been managed poorly and believes that the methods of House Bellator are better and the only way to ascend the current chaos.

5. Accessory of choice: The ornamental axe in her picture is for rule (like a scepter). She uses two simpler axes in battle. Also the crown and arm guards which mark her position as head of the house.
