Briar rolled over on Silences bed again with a groan. How much longer was her partner going to take? She was beginning to get seriously fed up of waiting. She kicked her legs up in the air, staring at the ceiling. She couldn't be that busy, right? She wanted to take a job.

"Yeah, Sure" Staz replied. "i'd take a job; I'm gettin' a little tired of these surroundings..." He turned to leave, flicking his wings out behind him. He cocked his head to the side "That is, if you're willing to. Since you're my partner, I'm thinking that I should consult you, Frost." He smiled his trademark smug smile and turned his ears towards you.

"Ok then, shall we meet the old man?" Frost said jokingly as he runs up the stairs, "Race yah." He says with a grin. The stair echoed with steps as Frost runs up them, trying his best to avoid hitting anything. His tail neatly wrapped around his waist as he closes his hands so he could not scratch on anything. He keeps his breath to solid deep breaths as he enters the living room, trying to spot the old man. He really hope no one heard the noise of him running. He doesn't like being scolded at all. Especially if one of the guardians did it. Shivers runs down his spine.

The Old man has moved himself to the living room. As he settled down on a sofa, crossing his legs, flicking through a note pad with a chuckle, "Are you here for a job?" he looked up, a glitter in his eyes. He gave a soft smile, welcoming them in. He wasn't a massive fan of punishments, he thought of them as his sons and daughters.

"Um. Yes." Frost says as he waits for Staz to come up the stairs. His tail slowly unwraps around his waist as the Dark blue scales gleam in the light. "Do you have any info on the jobs?" Frost asks nervously. This always happens when he meets the old man. Frost trusted the man with his life but still it is hard to speak with him normally.

He chuckled, "We have an infiltration job, but I recommend leaving that to the morthlings best at socialising. Someone needs help with the illegal trade route on the west border and finally, I need a coffee" he paused, "We're also needed a spy up North near the cafe" he waited for one of you to respond patiently, "Dress up properly, it's chilly out there" he sounded more gentle and dad-like.

"Um.. i am ok with the spy job. May i ask what the objective of the job?" Frost said as he turns to Staz, does he have objections? Did he wanted to do the illegal trade? He wondered his partners opinion of the job. "Yes sir," He says as he looks away.

"Ermm... I have no objections..." Staz stuttered. The old man creeped him out. "As long as I have someone to keep me company!" Staz elbowed Frost in the ribs, playfully. He turned to the old man "I thibk we'd be happy to accept the job." He said, confidently. He turned and raced out of the room shouting "lemme grab some stuff!".
