with the white powdered on my face, the servant then brushes a good amount of pink blush on my face, before dusting on a bit of dark blue eye shadow on my eyelids, making me tear up a bit as it gets in my eyes. then, he leaves me to get changed in to the outfit provided for me tonight; a large, floor length blue and gold dress.

when i'm done getting in the dress, he clasps the choker from before around my neck, before shoving a pair of gold heels in my hands and thrusting me into the hallway again, ordering me to put them on. he barges into lily's room while i slip into the heels, reprimanding her for doing something i wish i could do to this dress - setting things on fire.

he grabs her, dragging her into my bathroom to give her mostly the same treatment as he gave me, though i suppose he could do more with her. i would not put it past him to take a stab at styling her hair.


(as said before, you can choose your outfit/hair/jewelry, so long as the dress or suit is Victorian fashion. if you need help on what that is you can take a look at the dress my character is wearing ^^)

With much dismay, Adelia finally decides on something that 'isn't COMPLETELY frivolous'- a tailored black velvet jacket over a long red dress. She's wearing long black gloves and matching heels, and ample jewelry and makeup. Her hair has been done up in an elaborate style, which she is none too happy about. "I look like a flippin' Victorian schoolteacher," She grumbles, but there's not much she can do about it.

"that looks pretty good on you!" i tell her, grunting as i struggle to stand in the heels provided for me. as much as i hate to admit it, the servant did a good job picking out this dress for me, the color does look good on me, and the cut shows off my collar bones and chest in a rather flattering way. that does not mean i have to like it, however.

"Heh- thanks," Adelia shrugs, looking equally uncomfortable. "Likewise to you. Although I'd recommend staying the heck out of Firenze's way in that getup- you know, the redhead. He's a flirt, and he's ridiculous." She laughs.

i flush bright red in embarrassment, oh god i didn't even think about how other people were going to look at me in this! "thanks for the advice" i say, fidgeting with the fan in my hands nervously. i'm sure it will be fine. right?

"Tell you what- I'll try to distract the jerk myself. I dunno if I could stand seeing that butthead man-handling someone else.... we broke up awhile ago, but he's as dumb as cold rocks." Adelia rolls her eyes. "I have no doubts I can fool him." Adelia winks coyly. "Don't worry. Whatever happens, we're gonna be fine."

"oh thank god" i sigh in relief. i'm not sure if i would appreciate being hit on right now - despite how flirtatious i usually am with other men. "you're a live saver" i tell her, dropping the fan so it hangs on my wrist by the string meant to make it easier to hold.

Adelia smiles, tilting her head slightly and blinking her blue-grey eyes serenely. "I try." She kicks one of her feet in annoyance. "AUGH, and I had forgotten how much I hate wearing heels!" She wrinkles her nose, looking slightly cross. "I mean, as much as I can for someone who's 5'2" and bitter."

"heels are the worst" i agree, glancing at the door way apprehensively "especially when you're 6'1, i am bound by fate to slam my forehead into the top of the door frame" i wince, it always happens, no matter how hard i try to avoid it. sometimes being tall isn't all that amazing. heels look so good, and yet, for a man of my stature, they are the bane of my existence.

"Yeah," Adelia shakes her head. "I had a friend once who was like, seven foot. Played basketball, eternally running into doorframes and the like. Not all it's cracked up to be, eh?" She laughs. "Well, if there's one thing I've learned..... it's that nobody suspects the short ones." She laughs evilly.
