She spoke well though, she didn't possess the same accent as he did. As such he was inclined to believe her story of having been born here. At the very least she was not of Loch Ness as he was.
"Truly? And how long would that be might I ask?" she seemed younger than him, which would make sense if she had been born here in the mortal world seeing as the first portals only began to open around 500 years ago.

Flash nodded. "That's pretty cool. You could say I jumped through the crack though,"

"Why?" Akami asked, cocking her head slightly.

Lynn~
"Me? About 150 years, though my mother came over well before that before she met my father." She answered sighing at the thought of the happy family she had once. Oh how she missed them. Not long after her birth, a few years to be plain, they had left. She had no clue where they went or why they left her behind here in this world.

Dylan raised an eyebrow at this, she really was young. Compared to her Dylan was ancient history. Dylan himself was very nearly 850, still well in his prime considering that he could probably expect to live to be well over 2000 years old.
Dylan chuckled a little at the thought, "I could be your grandfather."

Lynn~
Snorting she glared at him. "I can't help it that I'm young." She said flicking a tail at him as she passed. Males why did they have to be so exact. "My grandfather was from the other world, not this one."

With a half forced grin Dylan responded, "As am I I'll have you know." this female spoke of family as if they were close to her, perhaps she was of a different breed than him after all.

"I wanted to meet the Celts my ancestors spoke off... but I guess there arn't any," Flash said, flashing an embarrassed smile.

the two Selkies reached shore. "Reed! my love, you're home!" One of the many seals on the rocks barked. There were many humans, taking pictures, none of them seeming to realize the mythical factors of some of these seals. "Lyra! darling! I successfully saved one of our own, look at her, I think she's been in captivity her whole life" Reed said, motioning to Echo. After a bit of proddig, she spoke "Yeah, its horrible how unnatural seals and even some Selkies become" Lyra said sadly. "You'll be right at home here, Alto's sister right? He's over that way" She told her. Echo thanked her and swam over to him. "Alto? Alto! I'm so happy! I'm finally free and I found you!" Echo cried out pushing her head into her brother. "Echo? Echo! Echo! Echo!" He barked, slightly laughing at the joke of her name, he always greeted her by repeating her name like an Echo. "I thought the humans killed you!" He barked worried. Echo explained her story to him, and he listened, telling her about what happened while she was gone.

"We made a home for Selkies where there was easy access home, there's a Selkie link under the water to get home" Alto told her.
