The story:
Mythical creatures and humans have lived in separate realms forever, but one day, the barrier between dimensions began to deteriorate, and now Mythical creatures can pass through at will, but travelling back is much more difficult, needing a link between the creature and their home world, humans cannot pass through the barrier at all. Half Creatures (Part human) lose any powers they have once in the human realm, but can still return to the creature realm.
Sorry this took so long, but I was incredibly sick recently, so I didn't have much time online.

Astra flew through the sky, the wind ruffling her feathers, the world seemed so small below her all of the creatures were meere ants from this height. Her vision wandered towards her home as she lowered herself to the ground. Thoughts swirled through her brain, rumours had been spreading like wildfire through the land about a portal... That could take you to a far off land, where creatures like us were made up... Fantasy. Astra had considered many times travelling through this portal but something had always held her back. That something was gone now.

Echo wanted nothing more than to return home, she rarely became human, she couldn't recall ever going into her human form, since she could only be human for 7 years, but she desperately wanted to, since she was trapped in this aquarium, she had to have been here for about a year now, and she hated every second of it. Echo loved the human realm for its amazing seas and oceans, though it was starting to be less enjoyable because of how much humans polluted the place.

Astra's mind was made up, she had had enough. Her job was a nightmare and no one understood her in this world. She needed a change of scenery, some new people to shed light on her so far meaningless life. Astra walked towards the portal and took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing." She whispered. A deep feeling in the pit of her stomach. It was fear... Fear of the unknown. She took a single step and the view contorted around her, changing significantly.

Flash sat on his hind haunches, grinning mischievously. He spread his wings, caught an updraft, and hopped into the air, looking down at the peculiar number of humans. He continued flying straight until he reached a forest edge. Smirking, he landed in a tree, scaring a woodpecker. Flash chased the bird and snatched it up in his jaws, letting it go just so he could chase it again.

(Btw I stay in the human dimension 75percent of the time)
She stood in a deer herd.
Looking around, she saw a mouse. She realized she wanted a snack, so she rushed up and bit into the mouse and ate it. She flew up above the canopy, stretching her wings as she flew up onto a rocky cliff on a mountain and laid down in satisfaction.

(Pinging to let you know that I started rp-ing. Also, sorry to hear that you were sick. I hope you're feeling a lot better now)
Jaya slithered through the underbrush, searching for something to eat. She tried to avoid human settlements as much as possible, and usually stuck to eating whatever small creatures she could find in the forest. She thought about the family members that she had accidentally left behind in the other realm. Despite her not being one of the most social people, Jaya missed them greatly. Her thoughts cut off abruptly as she spotted a small finch pecking at the ground. She lunged at it with unexpected speed, and ate it. "sorry about that, but we've all got to eat." She thought solemnly, before continuing on.

Silver ran over the roofs of the marketplace, three blue wisps followed behind her. A small fish hung from her mouth, it's heart still beating. Her paws beating against the tin roofs, her eyes set on the aquarium. A small prank, to make it seem like this fish was following a man. She didn't know who he was, but that didn't matter. She was after the thrill.
Silver snuck through a window, slowly weaving her way towards where she can drop this fish off.

Astra's head cleared as the scenery cleared. She seemed to be in a town, people were bustling around and shoving. Buildings covered the street and in and out people went. Her eyes hovered from building to uilding but she felt drawn to one in particular. One that read 'Aquarium,'

Echo swam with the other seals, she took pride in being one usually, but these ones were fairly dumb compared to the ones back home, their barks were so loud and they were so domesticated she could barely understand them, and they had no clue what she said, so she was the outcast of their group. Echo jumped onto the plastic beach they had, concentrating, yes, she definitely felt the presence of other magical creatures from her home realm.
