Enjoying the baked good, I smirk down at Angel. I wonder if hers tastes as good as mine... I take out the item I found in the watchmaker's shop, wondering what it is and what it can do

Angel eats her treat slowly. It seems like she's savoring the flavor.
Whatever the odd gem might be able to do, it's quite beautiful. It's colors seem to change depending on how you move it in the light.
What will you do?

I get up from the bench, still holding the gem, and walk back to the watchmaker's shop. Hesitantly, I approach the watchmaker and ask "Do you know this what this gem is?" I probably should have asked in the first place, rather than being all suspicious but too late now.
(Also I saw the whited out link in the next post and oh my god that 'vene is so pretty!)
