Willow decided that she had to do something. She asked Fala to look after Flint if she didn't make it. She stepped put of the shadows saying, "What happened? I know you're starving and all, so why don't you eat? But that doesn't mean that you should eat us. Can't you do anything do help your condition?" She swallowed hard, bracing herself for sharp teeth to come down and eat her

Xelzrin
He heard Willow's voice, seeing that she was where he laid down. He slowly walked up to her, his eyes yellow. He growled until Fala ran right in front of her. "Don't eat her, eat me!" she shouted. Xelzrin jumped slightly, backing up. He never expected Fala to be direct, but he managed to snap out of his trance. It hurt his head when he was back to normal, laying down slowly and whimpering like a dog.

Fala
She walked up to the dragon's nose, hugging it. "We all know that you didn't mean to. We're all alive and well, you just spooked us."

Alaska came down from the tree, and Flint rushed out to hug his mother. Amber trotted out like nothing happened.

Xelzrin And Fala
Fala pet him, trying to make him feel better. "I'm sorry. I lashed out at all of you." Xelzrin said, guilt filling his body.

"That's okay," said Alaska. "We all get moody sometimes."

Xelzrin And Fala
His eyes slowly went back to its ocean blue color, Fala seeing it. "You do give warnings. Like your eyes turning yellow, heavy breathing, and sudden aggressiveness. This can help us notice it first." Xelzrin's pain was diminishing, his frills lowered.

Alaska cleared her throat and said, "If you don't mind me asking, why can't you eat birds or something? Or humans? Humans are pests." She felt rude for asking

Xelzrin And Fala
"It's a sin to kill birds, besides I never see humans but heard about them. I do agree that they are pests. Also as soon as I see a living thing when I go crazy, I focus on them until I give up or they give up."

"What about deer? Or elk? That's what I eat. Or what about fish?"

"Fish sounds good, maybe I'll try that."
