I tense, and stop in place, looking around wildly. I don't want to disturb Angel, but I softly shake her awake and place her on the ground. Then, I grab my dual daggers, waiting for Angel to fully wake up before we continue on

I quickly get into a fighting stance with my daggers, hissing quietly at Angel to be prepared. I back up slowly, watching the figure like a hawk.
