I might have gone a bit over the top with mine but I had a lot of fun

I started off by knitting hearts in the appropriate colours
I then embroidered the messages on them

and sewed the hearts to there counterpart of the same colour with stuffing between them

I then decided I wanted to give each heart to a sylesti to hold

the first one I made was a felted emamored blossom vulnyx. I felted an oval for the body out of green

Added the red fur on its back

and shaped the head in the same way

I made the legs and tail by felting wool around pipecleaners

and joined all the parts together

before adding the details

for the next one I crocheted a lunemara

sewed the pieces together

added detail

and put a clip on the back so it could be attached to a heart

I then designed a cross stitch patten for a drayel

and started with the body colour

once I finished the body colour I added the eyes, shadows and claws

then did the belly scales

and outlined everything in black backstitch

for the fourth one I sewed a lupora
I started by marking

and cutting all the fabric pieces

sewed

and stuffed the head

attached front

and back legs

and created a base for the fluffy tail

I then sewed the body up

and used unspun wool to form the mane and wrap the tail base

for the final sylesti I knited a bulbori
I made all the parts

sewed it together with knotted strands tied at the neck

and trimmed and unravelled them to create the fluff

creating my finished valentine from a set of candy hearts and 5 adorable sylestis

I was inspired by all the plush Valentines and decided to sew a plush Nephini with a sort of Valentine color palette.
First I drafted a pattern, and pinned it to the fabric

Then I cut out the pieces

I started hand sewing up the pieces, you can see the head and one of the wings here

Then the body and the tail frills

Then I put the body together and attached the wings

Then I got the head attached

Then I finished up the legs and got them attached. Id originally hoped to embroider the eyes, but I ran out of time and did them with fabric too instead.

I put some little magnets in all four feet so I can stick him on things and make it look like hes perched there.

First, I gathered my supplies.
I apologize that my username and the date is upside down in the picture. I hope that it is still readable!

Next, I drew a baby Puffadore (sketch as this phase is missing some details).

Then, I colored my puff.

I created some candy hearts as well.

I assembled the items to make a card <3

- - - Rikki Plush - - -

This is my very last-minute WoL submission! I planned on working on it earlier, but the time got away from me so here we are finishing it on the last day- Regardless, I present: my attempt at a rikki plush! He's quite wonky! <3

* My fabric scissors were completely blunt when I went to use them, so don't mind the hack job I did on the fabric! xD

Time totally got away from me so I hope this isn't too late to submit (Finn has been into everything today lol)

I Patterned and Cross stitched a bookmark. I've never used fractional stitches before in patterning or actual stitching and I had some issues getting the shapes the way I wanted so lots of practice parts.

Testing my initial shape/some lettering, and fractional and petit cross stitches with differing thread counts etc.

Conversion to a more 3D shape, using some 3/4 stitches along the right side. Petit Cross stitches wholly abandoned. First attempt at stacking the hearts.

Testing outline with more extensive 3/4 stitches, messed up the count but it was cute. Still wasn't entirely happy with the top shading.

Decided to try gridding my fabric for the first time + Yolo!

I was really pleased with how this came out despite the slight weirdness at the top and tip.

Adding the second heart (now the yoloing is apparent + no time to restart the heart heh) Made some slight adjustments to the top and bottom.

The orange heart was definitely a 'first pancake' but not terrible, made some further adjustments on the third.

The Yellow Heart went really well, but was slow (This was a time lapse of about 3ish hours Finnteruptions not withstanding)

Finished!
I'm pretty happy with this overall. I've not done backstitching/overstitching alphabets before nor have I finished a cross stitch in this manner previously. I think it's turned out pretty well. :D

*there are no in the hoop shots cause I don't usually stitch in a hoop.
