Chapter 7
Treating The Wounds

EchoSong urged the wounded cats into her den. "Stay still, all of you. Your wounds need to be treated soon, and I can't do it alone," she quickly went to go fetch a few other warriors to help. Meanwhile, the patrol was left groaning in pain. SirenStar had a deep, bloody gash on her side, StormPelt's muzzle was bleeding, from the nose, RoseFur's left paw was bleeding, and she had scratches all over her back, and poor ThunderClaw was bleeding from cuts on his ears, and a deep red gash was seeping a ton of blood over his back and sides. They all collapsed on the floor. EchoSong came back, with two other warriors, BristleLeg and DarkPoppy. She ordered them to stay still while cobwebs were being placed to stop the bleeding. She then gave them juniper to ease the pain and poppy seeds to fall asleep.

The next day
SirenStar awoke to find her left side covered in bloody cobwebs. Then she remembered: they fought off the badgers, killing the female. She tried to get up, but everything hurt. She then sighed. How am I supposed to talk to my clan if I'm hurt and can't move? How am I supposed to run the clan here?? Then it hit her. "FallenStorm! I need you!" Two cats ran in, one silver and the other dark brown. "SirenStar! What happened!? Where are you?" He looked around the den full of cats, and finally was able to make eye contact with SirenStar. FallenStorm quickly told SilverPaw to stay where she was, so that he could urgently talk to her. "FallenStorm, are the-is the-"
"SirenStar, calm down! What made you think of killing a pregnant badger! That was a mousebrain idea right there!" He scowled.
"It's fine, we're fine, no ones that hurt.." she said amusingly.
"Are you kidding? This whole medicine den is full of bloodying cats!"
EchoSong came over to SirenStar and gave her juniper berry to ease the pain. She then scowled at FallenStorm and told him to quiet down.
"FallenStorm! Shush! Your waking the injured cats up!" she scowled.
FallenStorm sighed. "Alright, I'll take care of the clan for now," he whispered, "just promise me you won't make EchoSong any grumpier than she is."
SirenStar chuckled. "Alright, I promise.."

Chapter 8
New Leaf, New Beginnings

Time passes from the badger attack. Moons later, as new leaf is coming closer, the camp is busier than before. SirenStar is expecting kits with ThunderClaw. While the freshkill pile is bigger than ever before. SirenStar is 8 moons pregnant, and she is about to give birth. Meanwhile, she is restricted from her leader duties. As a matter of fact, people have given FallenStorm the nickname-"FallenStar," for his duties as running the clan. ThunderClaw isn't so amused. He's angry, for he is the soon to be father of SirenStar's kits. Every time SirenStar calls him to the nursery, he refuses, but his sister, RoseFur, says he's lucky to be a father, and the suggestive, "mate" of the leader.
"RoseFur, leave me alone.." grumbles ThunderClaw.
"Aren't you going to see SirenStar? She's expecting your kits, you know," she says.
"I never wanted kits. Apparently, StarClan thinks I did." he mutters to himself.
"ThunderClaw, any tom would die to have a family! I mean, look at FallenStorm! He wants kits, and so does his mate. Their adopted kit, LeafPaw, is an apprentice already! And LilacSky and StormPelt! They only have one kit!"
"RoseFur, go away. Stop acting like a kit. An annoying one."
"Poor SirenStar! She gets no support! From her own mate!"
"She's not my mate!" ThunderClaw growls angrily at his sister.
"She is. She obviously loves you."
ThunderClaw turns around to snarl at his littermate. "Leave me alone! You don't understand! I don't want kits. I don't want a family, I don't want you!"
RoseFur's eyes swell up with tears. She turns around and runs back to camp with a hurt expression on her face. ThunderClaw continues, trespassing NightClan's territory. ThunderClaw then encounters a hunting patrol. He's nearly killed, but RiverStar is with them. He demands why he trespassed.
"RiverStar," he beckons, dipping his head,"Let me join your clan."

Chapter 9
Not His Feelings

RiverStar shook his head. "You can't. It's against the warrior code."
"I need another clan. I don't want MysticClan! I was....I was....betrayed...," his voice gets louder,"by a friend...."
RiverStar snarled,"Is this a joke!? Get out. Get out of my territory, before my warriors tear you to shreds."
ThunderClaw quickly turns around, realizing his mistakes. He quickly runs back into MysticClan, with NightClan scent all over him. StormPelt, seeing his brother, quickly runs to him.
"ThunderClaw! Where were you? SirenStar is having your kits!!"
"No," he grumbled,"I don't want to see her. I've had enough."
StormPelt's eyes widened in fear."ThunderClaw......your eyes.....they, they, changed, for a second."
ThunderClaw snarled at his brother,"It was just your stupid imagination. Leave me alone!" He swiped his paw across StormPelt's muzzle. He started bleeding.
"Th-th-ThunderClaw," he said, clutching his muzzle in pain,"what happened to you." His eyes swelled up in tears, and he quickly ran toward the medicine cat den.
"EchoSong! Something happened! My brother! He's hurt! Come quick!" Said ThunderClaw, frantically in fear.
EchoSong came out and quickly ran to StormPelt with cobwebs to stop the bleeding. "What happened?" Asked EchoSong. "It was him..." StormPelt quietly croaked. EchoSong looked in ThunderClaw's direction. Her eyes widened in fear. ThunderClaw turned around just in time to see a faint silhouette of a bigger, darker colored cat with glowing orange amber eyes.

Chapter 10
New Kits Not Welcome

It's been a day and a half since SirenStar had her kits. She had six, SnowKit, LeopardKit, AmberKit, DuskKit, DawnKit, and NightKit. None of them have opened their eyes yet, and SirenStar was waiting for ThunderClaw. She couldn't get up, her abdomen hurt her to walk, so she was visited by EchoSong daily, to make sure the pain wouldn't grow into a hip problem. SirenStar still had 7 lives left, so it would be a while before she passed. When she heard the ruckus outside, she heard ThunderClaw's name. She sent StormPelt to look for him, so she figured he was found.
"ThunderClaw! ThunderClaw!?" she cried, hoping to get his attention. LilacSky came in with a worried expression.
"SirenStar, ThunderClaw......has changed.....he's no longer kind, he hurt StormPelt, his littermate. You should keep your kits away from him, and make sure he stays away."
SirenStar now had a shocked expression. "ThunderClaw would never do that," At the mention of ThunderClaw, he came in with a surprised expression.
"You had six kits!?" He said shockingly. SirenStar nodded.
"Their names are LeopardKit, SnowKit, AmberKit, DuskKit, NightKit, and DawnKit," she said pointing each of them out. "They're beautiful," he purred to her, clearly forgetting about the incident. StormPelt padded in with bloody cobwebs on his face, and muzzle. ThunderClaw turned around, and ushered StormPelt outside.
"StormPelt, I'm so sorry. Listen. Don't tell anyone what you saw. I've been having those kinds of nightmares, but I couldn't control my body when I hit you."

3 Long And Boring Moons Later
"LeopardKit! I have an idea! Let's make a clan!"
"I have an idea for a name, DuskKit, let's name it NightClan!"
"There's already a NightClan. What about CherryClan?"
"Too girly. What about SkyClan?"
"Good enough, hey SnowKit, wanna play with us?" She shook her head.
"Ok, your loss....I call leader!"
"I want to be leader!"
"You can be deputy,"
"Ok, DawnStar. I'm DuskPelt."
"I'm NightWing."
"I'm AmberHeart."
"I'm LeopardTail!"
"Ok, warriors! Let's attack! SnowKit, you can be SnowStar, leader of NightClan. We fight and attack your base." The white kit nods.

Chapter 11
The Urge To Kill

SirenStar had just finished feeding her kits. She left her kits with BerryStalk to take care of. She then decided to talk to ThunderClaw, and maybe go hunting with her. When she approached the Warriors den, she was too anxious to peek inside. Instead she called out his name. When he didn't answer, she looked inside. ThunderClaw was fast asleep. SirenStar then noticed the claw marks all over his body. What happened to ThunderClaw? Why are there scratches all over his body? Why is he covered with blood? her thoughts were cut off when she heard a moaning sound. SirenStar rushed to ThunderClaw, waking him up. "ThunderClaw!! Are you alright?! What happened?! Why are you covered in blood?" She asks frantically. ThunderClaw growls. "It was nothing. I'm fine," he mumbles half asleep.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure! Leave.....me.....alone......go.....away....." He snarls at SirenStar. His eyes change to a shade of Amber, a bit orange.
"Oh my StarClan.......what happened? ThunderClaw please tell me! You can trust me. We're mates, remember?" says SirenStar trying to be calm.
"Go away, you're only making it worse...."
"Tell me....I can help...." ThunderClaw lost it. He angrily leapt at SirenStar and pinned her to the ground. She tried to protect herself from the blow but she failed. ThunderClaw managed to swipe a paw at her eyes. Blood started pouring. ThunderClaw quickly jumped off, and clawed at his own heart. He'd had enough of ThunderStrike possessing him. He finally managed to tear open his own chest, and looked at SirenStar one more time. There was grief, pain, and determination in his eyes. Then he collapsed to the ground, and his breaths were starting to get shallow. SirenStar ran to save him but she was too late. The blood from her eyes quickly turned to tears, as she mourned the death of her mate. Little did she know that it was just the beginning of ThunderStrike.......

Chapter 12
The Rise of ThunderStrike

On the sad night ThunderClaw was mourned in vigil, SirenStar was crying. She watched the burial. So did the kits. The kits were too young to understand though. When she sat vigil, she swore to herself she would protect every cat from the possessive ThunderStrike. It wasn't long before the demon cat was back-again, and this time with more from the Dark Forest.
It was almost time for her own kits to become apprentices, and LeafPaw had recently become LeafTail. FlameKit was now FlamePaw, and SilverPaw was now SilverSky. FlamePaw had chosen the way of the medicine cat, so was now being trained under EchoSong. SirenStar smiled every time she thought about EchoSong. SirenStar did adopt and name the she-cat after her grandcat EchoStorm. But she hardly remembered anything from SunClan. But she did remember her siblings. It was almost time for them to become warriors when the war raged. She could soon feel a flashback coming.
"SirenKit! Wake up! Misty is coming! If she finds out we've been sleeping out, we could get in trouble. It'll be even worse if ReedPelt finds us. He will tell StormStar we've been out of camp!" SirenStar rubbed her eyes. "Ok, just give me a second, my paws are still asleep," she chuckles. Then she felt a sharp pain in her tail. It was FlameKit stretching with claws unsheathed. "FlameKit! Watch where you're stretching! You got my tail!"
"Sorry SirenKit, I can't see very well in this dark place. LeafKit scowled at her brother. "Hurry! Let's get out of here! Before anyone finds us!" SirenKit and the others quickly got up and ran to the nursery. Their mother had a worried expression on her face. "Where were you kits? You had me and ThunderStrike worried!" SirenStar immediately woke up. ThunderStrike! He was.....my father!! I should've known, but it's been years since I left SunClan. I never knew my father, but my mother......Misty. She was a kittypet! SirenStar then tells FallenStorm to prepare a clan gathering. She would be going to visit the moonstone tonight.

Chapter 12
The Prophecy of StarClan

SirenStar gathered her clan at star rocks. She told them she would be leaving to the moonstone, and FallenStorm would be left in charge. Then EchoSong gave her a few herbs and treatments to keep her from getting sick. She insisted on taking FlamePaw, which was there to help treat anything. Soon, they were off. The moonstone journey was very far from here. They had to walk across dangerous thunderpaths and avoid scary monsters. They also had to avoid twolegs. They could be extremely harsh at times. SirenStar knew, since her mother was once a kittypet. She would tell stories about how she came her in SunClan. It wasn't long before they encountered a large thunderpath. There were monsters racing across full speed. SirenStar was determined to protect FlamePaw, as he was only an apprentice. When the average of monsters racing down lowered, SirenStar nudged FlamePaw toward the other side. They were soon across. The two of them kept heading North toward the moonstone. Then they came upon the twoleg nest. The nests were huge, about twenty fox tails high. Angry kittypets hissed down on them as they passed the wooden fence around the area. The two had both cleared the twoleg nest when it started turning dark.
"FlamePaw, let's set up camp here. Till morning arrives, we can reside. Meanwhile, I'll keep watch. You rest."
FlamePaw nodded, and nestled down to go to sleep. Within minutes, the apprentice was fast asleep. SirenStar then caught the scent of a squirrel, and went after it. It wasn't long before SirenStar came back holding two squirrels in her jaws. She placed one beside the sleeping FlamePaw and she stared into the night. She looked up at the moon. "StarClan keep us safe...."
It was morning when SirenStar woke up. She looked next to her and FlamePaw was standing holding a pigeon. His ears drooped when she made eye contact. "Sorry SirenStar, I was still hungry. Thanks for the squirrel, by the way."
SirenStar nodded. It's alright, FlamePaw, we're not in the clan anymore. Now we can sort of take a break from our clan duties. I'm still hungry too!" They both chuckled at the comment.

Chapter 13
The Moonstone Finally!!!

SirenStar and FlamePaw had made it across the twoleg territory area. Now they were headed toward sunset mountains, where on dusk mountain, the tallest of them all, had the moonstone. FlamePaw smelled a different clan scent, one he wasn't able to identify. SirenStar caught the scent too. "Do you smell that? It's a different clan here! There's another clan! We must hurry to the moonstone!" FlamePaw nodded quickly. They were halfway up the mountain when they encountered a waterfall, the water falling so fast it could crush or drown a big cat. Instead, the two cats climbed around it, having to go through dangerous rocks. One false step could lead them to their deaths. SirenStar made it across, but FlamePaw had trouble. He nearly fell but SirenStar was there to save him by grabbing his scruff. Later they came across a set of caves. SirenStar picked the farthest one to the left, but a strange instinct told her to go in the middle. They both agreed on the middle. FlamePaw went ahead, while SirenStar searched for the moonstone cave. Then there was a glowing light ahead. It was pale blue. "SirenStar, I found a rock that's blue!" SirenStar paced to where FlamePaw was. FlamePaw finally found the moonstone! "Good job FlamePaw! You found the moonstone! Could you sleep outside tonight so I can speak to StarClan?" FlamePaw nodded. He padded outside and laid down. It was just SirenStar now. She gently touched her nose to the moonstone. She felt the coolness on her nose. The moonstone seemed to glow a little brighter. Within seconds, she was fast asleep. She quickly woke to the sound of cats talking. She opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by majestic cats. "SirenStar, welcome. Your journey here will not go to waste," said a ashen furred she-cat. "You may know me as GreyStar. I was leader of SunClan when you were born. I am sorry for what I've done, but it was the right desicion. ReedStar is here to speak." The she-cat stepped back, and a different cat took her place. "Hello SirenStar. You may remember me as ReedPelt. When I was still deputy. I was your fathers littermate. It is good to see my brothers kit grown up so well. ThunderStrike was fierce, but the Dark Forrest changed him. He has now an evil reputation. He posseses other cats. It was a bad decision for ThunderClaw to sacrifice himself."
"It's a true pleasure to see you again, ReedStar and GreyStar." SirenStar dips her head in respect.
Another cat takes the place of ReedStar. This time, she knew the tom, too well. "ThunderClaw!?"
"Hello SirenStar, did you miss me?"

Chapter 14
Welcome Back

SirenStar's eyes widened. "ThunderClaw!!! I missed you!" ThunderClaw nuzzles his former mate. "It's so good to see you again......" She started crying. "Why'd you leave me??? The kits, they need a father! Why'd you have to leave MysticClan so soon......"
"SirenStar, StarClan thought it was time. ThunderStrike had taken over me and I couldn't do anything about it...."
SirenStar wiped her eyes. "I-I promise I will protect my clan, I don't care what ThunderStrike can do do me...."
"There's the SirenStar I know...." He grins sadly.
"How do I defeat him?" She asked.
ThinderClaw shook his head. "You must find that out on your own..." The starry camp grounds started to disappear.
"Wait! ThunderClaw!" She cried out loud. She woke up to find herself in front of the moonstone. It was now growing faint. Oh ThunderClaw.......why did you leave us.....

Meanwhile, FlamePaw was already awake outside when she exited. "FlamePaw, it's time to leave...."
The young tom nods and heads downwards the mountain. SirenStar follows him quietly.
Two days later, they arrived at camp hungry and thirsty. RoseFur and StormPelt were on guard, and came to greet the leader and the apprentice. "SirenStar! How was it?" They asked. "SirenStar smiled. "I spoke with ThunderClaw....." SirenStar then headed off to her den. FallenStorm was waiting at the entrance.

"SirenStar! You're back!!!" He dips his head in respect. "The clan was the same as usual, nothing to worry about, that is...."
"That's good to know, FallenStorm, when I die, you'll be a great leader. I'm sure of it."
"Thank you SirenStar......"
"Why don't you fill yourself on the fresh kill pile??? You deserve it!" SirenStar smiles proudly at FallenStorm.
"Alright, if it's the best thing so far..." He heads toward the freshkill pile.

Chapter 15
Disasters

SirenStar awoke to the sound of a loud screech. Her ears perked, and she headed outside. To her dismay, a large snake at the entrance of the nursery. LilacSky was warning queens and kits to scoot back. The snake was trapping the cats inside the nursery. They had no where to go. EchoSong warned them it was a poisonous snake, one bite could kill a cat. "I'll get rid of this piece of mouse dung," SirenStar spat. She pounced on the snake, feeling it writhe in her paws. She was careful to avoid the snapping jaws of the slithey creature. One swift bite to the neck and the snake was dead. A foul smelling liquid keeled out of the snake's mouth. FallenStorm and BristleLeg carried the dead creature out of camp, so no one would mess with it. Hey were told to bury it deep. Meanwhile, SirenStar went inside to see to her kits. Soon they will be apprentices. All 6 of them! They will we a great addition to our clan, she thought proudly. LeopardKit's pelt was still growing out to look like a leopards fur, and SnowKit was starting to grow patches of black fur all over her flanks. Meanwhile, the other kits were doing just fine, as reported by BerryStalk, she herself nursing kits of her own. There would be 8 apprentices in the clan soon! They were going to need to expand their camp grounds.

Not too far away....
A small fire was starting to spread. NightClan started smelling smoke, and were beginning to evacuate. MysticClan had no clue what StarClan had in mind for them.

"EchoSong! Do you smell that?!" Asked a worried FlamePaw. EchoSong sniffed the air. "Hmm, I'm afraid I do....smells as if there's a fire nearby! We must warn SirenStar!
