MysticClan's Survival-Prologue

Once upon a tail, there was a kitty pet who wanted to see the outside world. She escaped from her twolegs(humans) and found a place to live in SunClan. She found a mate there, and bore 3 kits. Their names were LeafKit, DawnKit, and SirenKit. But the happiness didn't last for long. A war broke out between SunClan and the neighboring clan, StormClan. The parents were killed. So were DawnKit and LeafKit. They were murdered. Little SirenKit survived. She was kicked out of the clan for having a rogue mother, and for being an extra mouth to feed.
SirenKit then started having dreams. Little did she know, they were future prophecies. They were whispers of forgotten clans. StarClan. The dreams told her to find Star Rocks, where the fated moonstone was said to be. StarClan gave her the power of knowledge, extreme knowledge for a kit like her. Then, a mysterious gray cat trained SirenKit, until she became SirenHeart. StarClan thought it was time for her to start a real clan. By fate, she met a good-hearted young kit, and StarClan told her it was to be her future medicine cat. SirenHeart had no idea what it ment, so she continued, raising the kit as her own. She also found a few clanmates, who would make up part of her future clan. She found more and more cats, soon making an army, a clan. She decided to name it MysticClan after her mother, Misty. StarClan told her in her dreams that she would found the most powerful clan, one to be remembered through the moons and ages. StarClan also told her that MysticClan would have a great rise, and a great fall......

New Character! :)
SparrowKit!

A cute tabby cat with dark grey fur and deep green eyes. Can't speak, but can mew and growl, etc. Once he gets to know and bonds with other cats, he makes a special connection with them and is able to transfer strength, resilience, etc. SparrowKit is very reserved, and it adds to his already quiet composure. However, he can be kind of a scaredy-cat (no pun intended.)

Chapter 1
SirenStar's Prophecy

SirenStar woke up to the sound of rustling leaves. She slowly got up, afraid of what was outside. She peeked out through her den entrance. She was surprised to see a young kit shivering out in the cold. She slowly padded out, not wanting to startle or frighten the kit. "Hello??....." No answer. "Hello??...." Still no answer.
Suddenly she heard voices. She caught a whiff of a scent, strangely familiar. Two dark colored cats were with the young kit. They pawed it fiercely, hoping to kill it. They soon left when the little kit fell limp. As the two cats disappeared into the dark, SirenStar approached the kit. Hmmm....it's still breathing, and- her thought was cut off when she heard a mewling coming from the kit. SirenStar layed down next to it. The young kit then opened its eyes. It had the same color eyes as her. For some reason, this memory seemed very familiar. All of a sudden, everything faded away. The kit disappeared as well. Then she opened her eyes for real. The bright morning light flooded the room, and it shone in her eyes. Then she heard a familiar voice:"SirenStar!! You forgot to organize dawn patrols!! Would you like me to organize them instead!?" SirenStar was too tired to answer. The cat padded in. "SirenStar, are you alright? You seem a bit down....I brought you a mouse by the way," FallenStorm placed a dead mouse next to SirenStar's forepaws. "Thank you FallenStorm, I'll be right out," SirenStar quickly ate the mouse, and slowly got out. She glanced in the spot where she encountered the dream kit last night. She quickly glanced away when she felt FallenStorm watching her. "SirenStar, what happened?? Are you ok??? Do you need EchoSong?" he questioned. "N-no I'm quite fine thanks for asking..." said SirenStar wearily.

Chapter 2
SilverKit woke up to the sound of leaves rustling. She opened one eye and found FlameKit staring at her in the eyes. He poked her with one claw.
"Wake up." he grumbled.
She opened her other eye. "FlameKit, what are you doing?" She jumped back.
"I just wanted you to wake up in time to play with me." he sat back innocently.
SilverKit rose to her feet. "I wanna take a nap. Go away. I'll play with you later."
FlameKit tackled SilverKit abruptly. "You lazy furball." he purred playfully.
SilverKit laughed. "No fair, I wasn't ready!" She jumped around peppily.

Chapter 3
The Apprentice Ceremony

ThunderClaw paces around the nursery den. He decides to talk to SirenStar about the thought of being a mentor to the young cat, LeafKit. He starts heading toward SirenStar's den. At the corner of his eye, he spots LeafKit, tackling his other playmates. He purrs sadly, and then enters SirenStar's den. He peeks in, but is surprised to see she isn't there. He then turns toward the highrock, where she happens to be. "All cats old enough their own prey please gather round today." SirenStar yowls loudly. ThunderClaw quickly bound forward, toward Star Rock. When all the cats are gathered around, SirenStar sits down. After, when the clan quiets down, she starts to announce,"SilverKit, please come forward," The little she-cat happily bounds forward. "With the power of StarClan," SirenStar says proudly," I make you an apprentice. Do you promise to train hard with all your might and heart?" SilverKit nods. "Then I make you an apprentice. Your mentor will be FallenStorm. He makes a slight jump and grows a surprised face. He then heads toward SilverKit. "You shall now be known as SilverPaw." Yowls from the other cats were heard saying, "SilverPaw! SilverPaw! SilverPaw!" She and her mentor touched noses. They then headed toward the base of the highrock. Then, when the noise dies down,"LeafKit, please come forward." LeafKit proudly struts toward the highrock. He then sits down. "With the power of StarClan, I make you an apprentice. Your mentor will be ThunderClaw." SirenStar then makes eye contact with ThunderClaw. He then pads toward his apprentice. She then looks back at LeafKit. "From now on, you will be known as LeafPaw." ThunderClaw gently touches noses with his new apprentice. They stare into each other's eyes. LeafPaw sees proudness, and ThunderClaw sees excitement. They both quietly walk back into their spots together, sitting quietly.

Chapter 4
Training

LeafPaw arose from his new den in excitement. He looked over at his denmate, SilverPaw. "Who's your apprentice, SilverPaw?" SilverPaw woke upto the sound of LeafPaw's voice. "My mentor...,"she yawns," is FallenStorm, SirenStar's deputy. Why do you ask? Did you already forget?" LeafPaw shakes his head. "So I'll be training with FallenStorm and ThunderClaw! He's my father!" SilverPaw quickly nodded. "I know, silly. You used to talk about him all the time in the nursery!" She exclaimed. Then they started hearing footsteps. Both of the young apprentices bounded toward the den entrance. There were FallenStorm and ThunderClaw waiting for them outside. They happily raced outside to meet their mentors. "Hiya, ThunderClaw and FallenStorm! Are we gonna learn warrior moves?! Are we gonna learn to hunt?" LeafPaw and SilverPaw purred excitedly. "Woah, calm down you two. Today, we're going to show you around the camp boundaries. Tomorrow we start actual training." Said ThunderClaw, amused. FallenStorm nodded. "Let's start with the hunting grounds. Maybe we can come along on a dawn patrol, if they haven't left already." The mentors and the apprentices headed toward the warriors den. They peeked inside, but all the cats had left for their morning duties. "Ok, I guess we'll have to show you around," said FallenStorm," follow us, and pay close attention."
After a tour around the boundaries and the camp site, they were hungry. The group of cats headed toward the fresh kill pile, where SirenStar was waiting. She greeted them."Hello. LeafPaw and SilverPaw. How was your first day of training?" She said proudly. "It was great!" Mewed LeafPaw. "It's fun!" exclaimed SilverPaw. "Good," said SirenStar," I'm glad you liked your mentors," she purrs. She then heads off toward her den flicking her tail at the mentors proudly. Then the mentors grabbed a mouse each for their apprentices. They dropped the food at their feet. "Have you ever tried mouse meat?" asked ThunderClaw. The apprentices shook their heads. "I've only had pigeon," said LeafPaw. "Eww...." said SilverPaw, prodding by the dead mouse with her paw. "Go on, try it!" Said ThunderClaw. They both took bites from the mouse, finding it indescribably delicious."Wow! It tastes good!" said SilverPaw. LeafPaw was quick to agree.

Chapter 5
Badgers And Moon Lake

SirenStar was already awake when she heard the news of Badgers attacking at Moon Lake. "SirenStar! SirenStar!," said a very tired BristleLeg. "Badgers...." she panted, "are attacking cats on MoonLake!" SirenStar's eyes widened. "Where!? When!?," she questioned. BristleLeg replied,"On the brink towards our hunting grounds and NightClan! There were attacks this morning! A few NightClan cats were.....killed!" I saw the badgers and I came to warn you!" SirenStar mumbled a thank you and headed outside. She quickly climbed up the steep set of rocks leading to the ledge on Star Rock. The rest of the clan quickly met at Star Rock. "MysticClan! I need your attention!" The entire clan quiet down. "There have been badger attacks at Moon Lake! We must prepare ourselves for battle incase they may come here." There were many gasps among the clan. "The badger attacks occurred earlier this morning, and are causing a whole lot of trouble in NightClan. I'm afraid we may need to drive them out. And I want all eyes on the nursery, if the badgers come, they may go for the kits. I also need many to stay away from the lake! We first need a battle strategy!" she warned the cats. "May StarClan help us at this time." SirenStar quickly jumped off the rocks, and then went to FallenStorm and BristleLeg. "FallenStorm, I need you to guide the patrols away from the lake. BristleLeg, I need you to help FallenStorm. Me, ThunderClaw, RoseFur, and StormPelt will investigate. As for the patrols, if they see any badgers, come immediately and let me know." She then gathered the surrounding cats and headed off toward the lake.
When they reached the lake, there were two large badgers fishing for fish. One of them was a male, and the other was a female. And the female happened to look heavily pregnant. The cats all went to the underbrush that surrounded the lake, and hid behind it. SirenStar flicked her tail, motioning for all to spread out. SirenStar then froze when she saw that the female had picked up her scent.

Chapter 6
The Badgers Attack

SirenStar and the others swiftly and quietly crept over to the tree closest to the badgers. The female was sniffing and then started heading toward where SirenStar was hiding. The huge creatures peeked behind the underbrush, but the cats had left. The female then picked up another scent, and headed toward where the cats were presently hiding. The cats had no where to go, the tree was the only solution. The cats then scurried up the tree. But the female badger saw them. She let out a loud roar. The female placed her large clawss on the trunk, then started to climb. Thankfully, the trunk was too slippery. But the male badger caught hold and came toward the tree. The male managed to climb up to them. It raised a paw, about to strike, but SirenStar leaped out of the way, and jumped the the badgers back. She then unsheathed her claws and striked the male across his snout. The other cats went to finish the female. The male badger then managed to swipe a paw across SirenStar's fleece, which left a deep bloody gash in her side. Despite the wounds, SirenStar kept fighting. She then bit the badgers paw, and ripped out a claw from the other. The male badger then seized in fear, and ran away limping. The female though, was still fighting. SirenStar leaped on the female from behind, and sunk her teeth into the badgers neck. The other cats had managed to disable the badger by cutting her paw pads. The female badger then bared its teeth, and reared up on its hind legs. Doing that shook SirenStar off, tumbling across the bloody grass. SirenStar took advantage of the moment, and slit the badger's swollen belly, causing blood to gush out. The big creature then collapsed to the ground, trying to protect its belly from the blows. StormPelt then bit the creatures neck so hard, blood poured out of there too. The badger heaved its last breath, then ended with a shudder. The badger was dead. But the cats, having mercy on the badger, dragged the somewhat alive unborn badger pups, and left them at the edge of the river. They hauled the huge body of the female into camp. EchoSong, seeing the wounds of the cats, quickly urged them to her den to heal them. The rest of the cats stood there, staring at the badger carcass. FallenStorm and BristleLeg managed to drag the rest of the badger to the freshkill pile, crushing everything underneath it. FallenStorm, having seen the huge slit in the belly, knew it was pregnant. "SirenStar, to have killed a pregnant badger, she's a tough mouse brain sometimes..." BristleLeg chuckled. "We can survive on this for moons!" She exclaimed.
