I choose the same way Malikas does. If a random name for a pet pops into my head and sounds good, thats the name I give it :).

I say a few names and what species and color they are could make something good for a name. For example say I had a male orange zoxlini with white on the tail. I could name it don zoro after the fox knight king off of a math game called prodigy. Or just if you play animal jam you could use your animal's name like I used a qutari and named it after my wolf empress sunnycat. Get my point?

Me either I get those that past by name or ask someones else...
And, yes I do have pet name Purple claw and at some point I was a fan of warrior but now meh.
Some people did give me good names like Corrie (because at 1st I taught it was a female so yeah my bad)
And Purple claws someone else proposed it and a fan of Warriors...So yeah.
Most of them are mine...Like Pearl, Sapphire...So yeah.
