We have two exciting updates being released tonight at midnight (Halloween)!


Trick or Treating
Trick or Treating will be a new feature available to all players. It's structured to sort of be like a mini-game that you can play with everyone on the Site every 6 hours. Trick or Treating will be available from when it's released until the end of the festival.

Basically, one user is the "Visitor" and the other is the "Host". The Visitor initiates the game by either Tricking or Treating the Host. The Host is then notified that the Visitor has Tricked or Treated them and they can respond in two ways. The Host can either guess that the Visitor is Tricking them and choose Trick, or they can guess that the Visitor is Treating them and choose Treat. The results are then a sort of "rock-paper-scissors" match:


If Visitor Tricks and Host guesses Tricks, the Visitor is foiled.
Host awarded 4 points; Visitor 0.

If Visitor Tricks and Host Treats, the Visitor steals.
Host awarded 0 points; Visitor 4.

If Visitor Treats and Host guesses Tricks, the Host is a bad Host.
Host awarded 0 points; Visitor 2.

If Visitor Treats and Host Treats, both are satisfied.
Host awarded 2 points; Visitor 2.


For every user, points will be tallied throughout the Festival. Those with the most points will win very prestigious prizes (to be announced soon). We will also be creating a Leaderboard page where users can track the leaders and their rank. This page will also have an enhanced Search feature so players can more easily find other players to Trick or Treat with - although the Trick or Treat page does offer a way to navigate through other active player's pages.

Also coming soon after its release will be an option for Hosts to "Gift" their Trick or Treaters. More details will be provided when this feature is live, which will be when all of the Festival Avatar Items are available in-game.


Second Holiday Pet Variation
For Halloween Day (10/31) and Halloween Day only, a new variation of Holiday Pets will be available and temporarily replace the First Variation. Be sure not to miss out on this once a year opportunity!

Below are some announcements regarding the Trick or Treating feature.


Firstly, if you have not noticed, on every page there is a small Pumpkin Basket icon by your Username/User Information. You can click on these icons to visit your Trick or Treating profile page. From there, you can cycle through available Users and Trick or Treat with them. Read the above post for more details.

Secondly, we have announced the prizes for the top 20 players who finish with the most points at the end of the Festival:

We will be creating a Leaderboard page within the next day or so so that everyone can easily track the Leaders. This page will also offer an advanced Search feature so that you can more easily find available Users to Trick or Treat with.

Lastly, there are rewards available for every User just by participating in the Trick or Treating. Please note, these rewards are not yet active. When they are active, they will be rewarded retrospectively if you've already qualified for them.

* = The Gift Basket is not yet available. It will become available once we finish implementing all of the Avatar Items for the Fall Festival. We will make an announcement when this happens.

Just an update on the remaining Fall Festival content.

We have finally finished uploading all of the Fall Festival Avatar Items! You can view them all in the Wardrobe if you are curious to see what will be available.

Tomorrow (or today shall I say), we will work on getting the Holiday Shop available as well as Gift Baskets and Grab Bags. Additionally, we will work on getting Chocolate Coins into circulation.

Once these items are obtainable in game, we will be sure to make the appropriate posts and give out all of the details.

After the above, we will work on getting the Trick or Treating Leaderboard page created. Also, we will be adding a third Holiday variation to all wild species in the Fall Festival zone that will be available for the remainder of the Festival. Lastly, we plan on creating a fun Dynamic Event for the Fall Festival that will hopefully give everyone a challenging task with the opportunity for unique and very Halloween type rewards.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to roll out content and apologize for taking so long to make everything available.

Lastly, we have added the Fall Festival Basket to the Diamond Shop. The Fall Festival Basket contains BOTH 1 Epic or Legendary Avatar Item from the Fall Festival (including the Astral, Celestial, and Heavenly Nebula Set items) AND an Enhanced Ryori Essence, Lesser Genetic Mutator x2, or Lesser Pet Dye x3.

Additionally, Golden Egglings can now be opened once again and may contain Fall Festival items.

Chocolate Coins can now be earned by defeating Named, opening Mysterious Pumpkins, and Nurturing.

-Every Named awards 1 Chocolate Coin when defeated.
-Mysterious Pumpkins have a chance to contain 1 Chocolate Coin.
-Nurturing has a chance to reward 1 Chocolate Coin.

Handfuls of Candy and giving Gifts to Trick or Treaters are now available!



Handfuls of Candy can be found in Mysterious Pumpkins, dropped by Named in the Fall Festival Zone, or sold by Epheni Blinkwind. They can also be purchased directly from the Diamond Shop.

If a user has a Handful of Candy in their Inventory, they have the option to "Give Gift" to a Trick or Treater. This guarantees the Host 20 Hallowed Points. The Visitor then receives a special reward, which includes a Fall Festival Avatar Item, a Lesser Genetic Mutator, a Lesser Pet Dye, a Lesser Philter, or a Chocolate Coin.

Additionally, Titles are now available in the game. For a list of available Titles, view the Trick or Treating section in the original post.

There was an issue w/ the Candy Dispenser, Sweet Tooth, and Trickster titles. We had to remove all these titles from all users since some were awarded improperly.

So if you had selected to use this title, it was removed. If you meet the requirements for the title, you will have to Trick or Treat 1 more time to re-earn the title.
