my school cancelled indefinitely and there's talk of closing for the rest of the year. funny thing is we don't have any cases in our county? everyone has kind of just been self quarantining and I haven't been able to see my friend because her brother has willams syndrome and that makes him a bit immunocompromised.
I keep telling myself that I'm going to clean my room but my laundry from last weekend is still sitting in a basket. unfolded. and my desk is messier than ever because I found my watercolors and I don't care to clean them up

My small town of only about 2000 people has one case as of now. Honestly we probably won't get any more because most people are taking it pretty seriously but you never know.
May 3rd is my birthday ^-^
Last night the parents of my class had a zoom meeting and I don't think we're going on our end of the year class trip we saved over 10k for so that sucks. I mean not as much as not being able to finish out the school year which everyone is pretty much saying is a really huge possibility right now.

Weekly check in I think! This might get a tad bit long and ranty so please bear with me ^-^
So I'm good, my town only has one case of Covid-19 and I am only coming down with a cold so yay. I used to complain about not being able to see my best friend because we're all self quarantining but her brother's immune system isn't exactly the best because of a disability he has so I'm not complaining. I have gotten to see her twice, the last time our parents went to the neighbor's house and my friend, her brother, and I laid in her bed and played video games. (Well really just me and her, her brother fell asleep on me and then I eventually fell asleep at like 1 am. We left at around 3 am)
The weather has been quite nice, low to mid 50s is really good for March here. I'm constantly freezing though so I've been in multiple sweatshirts and living in sweatpants since we got off from school. It's whatever though because nobody but me uses our hot tub regularly so I have it up to 106(Fahrenheit not Celsius)
I officially hate school. Or dislike because hate is a strong word. I mean we get huge packets of work on Tuesday and it's due Friday. My teacher for math and science, same person, refused to send home books until my mom and two of my classmates parents got the principle involved. I emailed her multiple times asking for help with what we were doing and she just told me to look at the links she provided on the school website. When I told her I needed a physical copy so I could look through at my own leisure and so my parents could also look at it and help me she told me that she had provided links and I should use them before complaining...
That was only for math too. I also asked about science homework, all of which I haven't touched because she didn't provide any links or pictures for the book. She had emailed the whole class in a collective email and told us about the new homework and asked us to email her if we didn't have our science book with us. I didn't because despite the fact that we had a test on the cells the Friday our school got cancelled I didn't bring my book home because I remember the information and don't need to study. She replied with, and this is an exact quote, "Hi *my name*, I was worried this would be an issue for you." and then she just went on about how we had a test and had expected us to all be responsible and take our books home.
Good thing is that all our work for the week gets delivered in around 2 hours so I'll have to speed through all the work from last week before I can start this week's.
My diet is consisting of unhealthy amounts of chocolate and water and whatever my parents make for dinner. I also have organized my desk and my closet along with cleaning my sister's room after she left for my aunt's house. Don't know what this has to do with anything but thought I'd share how I cope with being in my house all the time.
I get to shoot my rifle again tonight, this time I'll actually have a front sight if my dad and I don't forget. My sister got her bow a few days ago, it's pretty cool. I haven't asked if I could shoot it yet but I haven't really been in the mood to leave my bed so whatever.
OOo I got chicks! 10 of them! My sister has two and I have the other eight. She already named hers but I don't name them until they move to the coop because when they're chicks the lives are pretty unpredictable. A few years back I had a chick who was perfectly fine in the morning die not even a few hours later. You really can't get too attached when you first get them. I wait around a year before really sticking to a name for them as well. Anyways we got 2 Isa Browns, 2 Australorps, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, and 4 bantams. I'm pretty confident in my chicken breed naming skills and I think I chose 4 Silkies; two black and two white.
Ah, so this did get very long. Sorry ^-^ You don't have to read it all if you don't want to!
