You turn just in time to catch a small, darker shadow flitting over the ground to your right. Then the voice sounded from your right, "Human, of course. Right?" It sounded slightly unsure at the end.

I flash turn, eyes locking onto what seemed to be the shadow. I narrow my eyes, concentrating, tracking the thing down before eyeing it dead center. "Human, right? What do you think, dear?"

Im ready I assume she said starting down the path

"Uh," the shadow paused right in front of you, "Wait, you have wings, so not human? But you look human..." The black thing moved closer, "What are you?"

"Let's go then!" Syl streaked in a circle around you before heading--at about your walking pace--down the crystal path.
