She seen a servant approach her and hid behind another worker, 'did I do something wrong?' she asked herself before getting tugged inside to get changed, she went inside her poorly lit room and grabbed her towels to get washed up, she was plucking thorns out her hands and arms, she knew she would be left with some scars but she had many scars and a few more won't hurt anyone she was a very clumsy person

Gabriel moves away from the window, walking over to the door and swinging it open before we can run away. "hasn't anyone taught you it's rude to snoop?" he asks, shaking his head. "never mind. just take these" he says, grabbing the pile of books from the table in front of him, dropping it in my arms.

"what is this?" i question suspiciously, peaking at the cover of the book. it's tittle reads "a comprehensive list of the gods and their origins" in curling, gold script. "it's knowledge about how you live now" he says, turning back to his room "i'll look through the other books in here and see if there's anything else suitable for you. make sure everyone reads this together" he says, shutting the door behind him without a further word.

Adelia grits her teeth. "Well that was slightly infuriating." Why must the 'god' we've been kidnapped by be so darn CRYPTIC AND SMUG?

"yeah" i nod, glancing down at the book "why don't we get everyone together to read this, it might be important"

Adelia nods grimly. "I mean, I'm less inclined to now that it feels like following his orders, but yeah. Probably best, and also I'M REALLY CURIOUS. Argh."

She finished and got out wrapping a towel around her and went to her dresser to get dressed

"why don't we head to see if lily's in and read it together - i don't feel like waiting to see what's in these" i say, glancing at the stack of books in my arms. "these look really old" i comment, glancing over them.

She put on some furry shirt and shorts while putting her hair in a pony tail and closing her door, she curled up under her blankets, she was covered in fresh scratches and scars, felt good that she can rest but her body hurt alot

making our way down to lily's room i gently knock on the door, the others in tow behind me. "hey lily, uh, are you here?" i ask, shifting the books in my arms uncomfortably. they're heavy, like seriously heavy. i mean it makes sense because they're so thick and they have all that metal on the cover, but that doesn't make them any easier to carry.

She groaned and shifted out of bed wrapping the blanket around her and opening the door a smidge "yeah I'm here" she says sleepily and looks at him "what's with the books" she yawned rubbing her eyes
