"Eladain?" She spoke softly, "You sound like you need something to get your mind off of her. Trust me, I know how you feel, I lost my wings because of a crush. Look, this may sound harsh but forget about them. Humans don't last! But you have a beautiful daughter that will, try and focus on the good aspects."

"I know. Akami is so much like her mother though... She's a wonderful kid." Eladain said.
"DAAAAADDY!!!!" Akami hollered, running into the room. She was holding the three Nekomata kittens in her arms. They struggled to get free.
"I shot a wolf, and now it won't stop following me!" she wailed.
"Akami, of course it would follow you. You were the first thing it saw after getting shot, so now it loves you!" Eladain said, trying to calm the little half-irin.
"I don't want it to love me." Akami said.
The wolf, large and white, stood, looking at her.

Amara laughed and stepped forwards "I got this! Over the years I learnt a trick to stop this." Amara took the wolf away and freed it from the spell. "Well, I think I'm going home. It's been a long day and I didn't get any sleep last night."

Flash had guzzeled down his meal, along with seconds and thirds. Happy and full, he trotted outside to stretch his wings and legs.

When echo reached the down, she noticed have alive it was with mythical energy. To introduce herself to the area, he climbed up onto a rock on the coast, singing her beautiful song loudly.

Dylan raised his eyebrows, did she seriously not know how to disguise herself? "Human form of course, either that or I stay out in the water."

She snorted. "You mean you can change too?" This almost offended her, did he really have the nerve to talk to her like that? His attitude was getting on her nerves to say the least.

Dylan frowned, "Of course I can, what sort of kelpie would i be if I couldn't?" He paused for a moment actually considering his own somewhat rhetorical question. "I mean I obviously ain't no hippocampi thats for sure, the accent should be enough to tell ya that."

It was true that among the water horses, hippocampi who were the Greek version were the only ones not able to shape shift. But hippocampi were far more tame, after all they were supposed to be Poseidon's personal horses.

In her home, Kruuna thought of her friends that died that day... It was in the cursed year 1896, the year when the humans in their greed came and destroyed all that she held dear. Her heart was still wounded and torn, even after 121 years had passed since then. Now few ever come here and even fewer actually see the "Great Albino Bear" of legend that lives in the remote Alaskan wild.
Kruuna was that bear, and she never approved much of others disturbing her, even if they couldn't see her.

Echo travelled far to Alaska, finally finding a place to rest on shore. Wanting to see more of the land, she decided to wander a little further from the beach.
