when i return to lily's room, she's asleep on her side. gently shaking her awake, i give her the bundle of pastries, taking a seat beside her. "i'll get you some tomorrow, too, don't worry about it" i assure her, flashing her a smile "its no big deal"

She took the pastries and sighed eating them quickly "you don't have to" she says curling up under the blankets wincing slightly "and what if he catches you" she asked worried

"what if he does? so he'll make me work in the gardens for a a few days with you and then i'll be fine" i shrug "besides, i don't want you to go hungry"

"true" she sighed silently "I only have 2 hours to sleep" she mentioned "before my clothes are clean again and I have to go dirty them up, you should rest" she insisted

"only if you do too" i say, standing up and moving over to a chair on the other side of the room so she can sleep in the bed. curling up on the large fluffy chair, i grab the pillow resting behind my back, hugging it to my chest.

She nodded "okie" she crawled into the bed and curled up in the bed hugging the big pillow and falling asleep, The maid looked in the room and sighed turning back to get some more things done so she can still rest

when i wake up a few hours later, the sun is high in the sky, and Gabriel is stand at the door, arms crossed. shooting up, i stare at him wide eyed for a few minutes, heart beating in my chest. reaching over, i tap lily on the foot to wake her, gesturing to the silent man in the door way.

She yawned and looked outside the window from the looks of it she was already over time on her schedule when he pointed at the man in the corner she sat up and put her hair in a pony tail before leaning against the wall, she kept silent

"you two, come with me" he orders, turning heel and walking off without another word. i share a glance with lily, then, with nowhere else to go, follow Gabriel down the hallway. "we will be having guests over this evening at dinner, i want you on your best behavior" he says, glancing back at us "that means no roughhousing" he says, giving us pointed glares.

She stayed silent, she didn't know why he was telling her this she wasn't even going to be inside, but she nodded in agreement and kept walking with him, she kinda kicked the ground as she walked so she would feel much better, and what guest, she thought but said nothing
