Kruuna decided that it was about time for her to go for a stroll and patrol her territory.
She walked over to the river, absorbing all of the scents and energy from the scenery. There was something... off about this morning. There was someone invading her territory! This instantly made her angry...
So now she went to track down the invader, and if it was a human: so may the spirits help them.

The young Selkie decided it was about time to shed her fur, she wanted to see her human form in person, plus, she had seven years, and a few minutes wouldn't hurt anyone, she decided, pulling her selkie coat off. She could sense another magical being nearby, but decided it was of no concern to her, most creatures she met were friendly anyway.

Kruuna found the scent, but something had changed about it...
She was closing in on the owner of the scent, and it was a human!! Kruuna charged at the female human, roaring with fury the way that only large and ancient bears do.
Even thought she knew that it was futile, she said to the human, "Why does your kind always want to destroy my home! You humans destroy everything that you touch!! LEAVE!!!!"

Though Echo was startled at first, she soon realized this bear was the magic she was sensing. Echo began to sing, no words, just beautiful melodies from her mouth, she had never sung as a human before, and this bear would make a great audience. Echo figured this bear would soon realize the mistake she made, calling her human, she wasn't an ungraceful, disgusting human, she was a beautiful Selkie.

Eladain glanced up from his paper, and went to find the source of the noise.
Only one creature could have a voice as pure as that.
"Are you a selkie?" Eladain asked, his bow still in hand.

She nodded, holding up her fur seal coat. She had no idea how to shape human words as a selkie who never was human before.

"My name is Eladain. I live in Lesser Mythica, a city I built." he said kindly.

She nodded, pointing in the direction of Selkie island, named that for the seals, which according to legend were selkies, not all of them were, but it wasn't a completely false rumor.

"You're from Selkie island. That makes sense." Eladain said. "I'm not from around here either."

"What is going on," Kruuna said out loud. The newcomer most certainly did not smell human, not only could he see her, but he also had hair the color of Kruuna's fur. Hardly anything visited this place, but now there were two not-humans in Kruuna's territory.
Then the one-sided conversation reached the bear's ears.
It calmed her down to her usual mindset.

"You are not a human, is this correct? I am sorry that I roared at you, it is merely that humans have had a bad influence on my land in the past," she addressed to the young female.

"My name is Kruuna and I am the Great Bear that resides in this land. Who and what are you two, and what are you doing in Alaskan Bear Territory?" she asked the two not-humans.
