"fine" the woman huffs "don't wear makeup then, but you still have to stay so you don't mess up your dress or get under foot" she warns, taking down her measurements and stepping aside. "there, you're done, now stay here while i prepare your dresses and work out something that will please her Mercy" she says.


i nod, no harm in waiting, where would we go anyways? surely not back to the garden. i sit on the floor in the corner, glancing around for something to keep myself busy while i wait. lily comes to sit next to me while the woman wheels out two partially made dresses, getting to work on sewing them finished, pulling the curtains closed so we can't see the dresses.

after about half an hour, the woman throws the curtains open, revealing the two dresses on the mannequins.lily's dress is peach in color, minimalistic but in a regal, confident way that oozes authority. the dress next to it is much the same, though dark blue in color.


"i'm supposed to wear that?" i ask, pointing to the blue dress and making a face. "yes" she confirms, "now put this on" she orders, handing me a red lipstick from her pocket. sighing to myself, i comply, putting on the lipstick, and grimacing. "i look so stupid" i mumble. "just put on the dress: the woman snaps, showing it in my arms and pushing me towards the sectioned off changing rooms,

She follows him and went into her own changing room getting dressed but she couldn't get the zipper up and didn't wanna go get help Because she was embarrassed for having some short arms

when i'm finally done with my dress, i step out, covering my shoulders with my hands and shivering. it's cold having my shoulders exposed like this. "good!" the woman exclaims, proudly. "lily can you hear me in there?" she asks, waiting for a response while i silently glare daggers at her for making me wear this.

"um yeah" she lied and sat on a bench

"good" the woman says "Her Mercy and the Lyra are coming over tonight and Gabriel is very excited for dinner. they will be arriving soon enough" she informs us, checking the time on her watch "so go meet Gabriel in the main room to wait until they arrive, he will be waiting for you" she says turning heel and walking off, done with us for now.

She walked out and looked at him as in a help to zip her zipper,she made it halfway she needed help for the rest,it squeezed her sides very tightly which made her shift uncomfortably and her arms where all scared up

i quickly help lily with her zipper, giving her a thumbs up when i'm done. "ready to go?" i ask, though it's more of a formality, it's not as if we have a choice in the matter.

"I guess so" she sighs and heads to gabriel

we make our way to Gabriel, who's waiting patiently for us in the front most room, facing the doors. instead of his usual combat clothing, he's dressed up in a suit and tie, which he adjusts around his neck as we approach from behind.


hearing us behind him, he turns, greeting us with a smile. "good evening" he greets, extending an arm to us. i don't take it, simply standing beside him and refusing to make eye contact.

She kept her hands behind her back distancing herself from him a little,she knew it was rude but she wasn't thinking like that at the moment, she was worried about the girls who would have her hide if she's gone, she sighed and looked around
