Flash trotted down to a pond and proceeded to groom himself, preening his wings and smoothing down his fur.

Kruuna growled when she heard this. Hearing about humans usually made her so.
"Another life that humans destroyed," Kruuna said in a very low growl.

"Yeah, it was awful, but I was rescued by a... valkyrie? I think that's what she was" Echo barked

"What is a Valkyrie?" Kruuna asked.

"Some sort of magical spirit warrior" She said "Reaper of souls and decider of worthy" She said. "I was also rescued by a Selkie named Reed, some myth and seal hunters caught me, if I refused to reveal I was a selkie, they would kill me for food and other stuff, and if I was a selkie, they would get rich and keep me captive forever" She explained "But Reed was disguised as one of them, and we ran off together, he brought me back to where most selkies in this world lived, and I found my brother!" She barked happily, clapping her fins.

"Good for you." Eladain said.

Kruuna looked to where the male not-human was still standing quietly. I had almost forgotten about him, she thought to herself.
"You still have not answered my question from earlier," the bear said to the one known as Eladain.

"What is that question? Sorry... I was zoned out." Eladain said apologetically.

Kruuna thought hard to remember what she had forgotten. But she could not recall what it was that she was forgetting.
"My mistake, it 'tis merely that I have this feeling of recently forgetting something of importance, but then I tied back to my question about asking who and what you were. Now I remember your answer, but am unable to recall what it was that I was supposed to remember," Kruuna explained to Eladain.

"I'm confused." Eladain said.
