the doors across the room are pulled open by two well dressed servants, and two people come in. the people from the book, though they look a little different in person. i expected the lyra to be a bit taller... never mind that. plastering a smile on my face i watch as Gabriel greets the two with open arms, placing a kiss on each of their cheeks and talking about how he hasn't seen them in so long.


soon enough, the two take notice of us, and her mercy flashes us a smile. "hello there" she greets warmly "who are you?"

Lilly looks at her friend then back at the lady, and stayed silent, she wanted to tell her that we are the hostages but didn't, she secrety raging inside causing a few shocks from her collar but hid it, she just kept her hands behind her back and her mouth shut

i keep my mouth shut, allowing Gabriel to do the talking. Gabriel seems to be friendly with these two, i'm not sure if i should be associating myself with them. "these are two of my prophesized ones, Jack and Lily" he introduces, i give her a polite smile.

"how wonderful!" she exclaims "my name is Angela and this is Lucio" she introduces herself and her friend.

She turned and walked away "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me" she says heading silently, she hated how they made this seem normal, but she said nothing, she kept walking before helping the other servants with the food, she didn't care how well she was dressed

Gabriel is quick to send me after lily, apologizing to Angela, who laughs. Lucio on the other hand, follows after me, catching up to me. "so what's with her?" he asks, surprising me. "nothing" i respond, quickly locating her.

he rolls his eyes, before speeding up a bit to reach lily before i can. "hello" he greets, extending his hand out to her. "mind joining me for dinner?" he asks. "i mean, Gabriel technically requires you to come to dinner, but would you like to sit next to me?" he chuckles.

She looks at him before giving her friend a glare then looking back up at the man, 'atleast it wasn't gabriel' she thought before crossing her arms infront of her "I don't know why I'm not going to eat anyways" she mutters picking up a dish and handing it to another lady and turning back to them

"well why not?" the man asks, leaning against the wall. i sit there awkwardly, not wanting to interrupt the conversation and not wanting to return to Gabriel empty handed.

"because I'm not allowed to eat Because if my.... behavior a few days ago" she stated washing her hands "what else do you want to know?" She asked him forgetting that he was the guy in the book

"i wont pry" lucio throws his hands up "but come with me anyways, i'll have a word with Gabriel if he tries to stop you from eating" he says, linking arms with her and walking with her to the large dining room with me awkwardly trailing behind

there's a massive spread of food on the table, with a few platters of roast meat and all different types of bird, as well as a massive roast hog in the very center of the table. we take a seat, with Gabriel being at the head of the table and Lucio and Mercy on either side of him. lily sits next to lucio, and i sit next to her - not wanting to be next to a stranger.

Lilly sat silently with them, she was starving but didn't wanna make anyone upset, she kept her hands on her lap and examining her surroundings, she wanted to tell him not to but didn't say anything, she looked at her friend nervously but then back at the food
